Hmm...what to write? I bet no one here has ever thought that before. :)

YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST READ

Everything Was Fine, Until It Was Awful Instead

Simply put, I'm a writer. At least I would like to think so. I'm a lazy writer however and so my productivity is a bit subpar. I enjoy poetry, fiction...well truthfully the whole spectrum.

I work at a bookstore, selling tome after tome after tome, thinking one day, someone somewhere will be doing the same thing with something I've written.

Most of my fiction, at least what I've written lately, is primarily gay themed. I came out about 5 years ago and well it's clear to me that my muse is a bit fixated.

My poetry, most of it anyways, tends towards the asexual, although there is the occasional piece inspired by some adonis. One in particular I haven't been able to locate but when I do I'll put it up here too.

I read voraciously. Pretty much anything I can get my hands on, except ironically those romance novels. I'm sorry the heaving breasts on the cover just throw me off a bit. Primarily I love mysteries; John Sandford, Dennis Lehane, Harlan Coben, Jonathan Kellerman, James Lee Burke, Michael Connelly, Fantasy; RObin Hobb,(everything she has written is truly amazing) George R R Martin, (The master of epic fantasy...bring on Dance with Dragons) Kate Elliott, Terry Brooks, Raymond Feist, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan, Tad Williams, Horror; Stephen King, (I have everything of his, everything) Dean R Koontz, Robert McCammon,(Swan Song is phenomenal) YA; Alex Sanchez...pretty much anything that has a gay plot line I have on my shelf, History, biographies, some science fiction, most notable, David Feintuch's Seafort Saga which is the best science fiction series I have ever read, his main character Nick Seafort...if I could ever fall in love with a literary character...well let's just say, I'd have his babies. :) and Orson Scott Cards Enders Game.

Other than reading and writing and an occasional jaunt out to the club every now and then, my life is pretty introverted. But I like it that way.

As far as what I'm writing right now.

There's the Lost Boys of Fairweather High which is in it's introduction phase. I have several different story lines and I'm trying to blend them together. The Fallback Guy is actually going to be a story line in Lost Boys. . Uhm. I just started another story, entitled Bright Lights, Black Rainbows Wow with all these story lines, you'd think there wasn't a straight guy in the place. I assure you, there is. I just haven't found them yet. And I've just started a new one, completely unrelated to the three that all take place at Fairweather High. This one, Home Away takes place in England with an exchange student who as it will turn out came from Fairweather High but is living in England for a year. I've only one chapter so far, but I like it. :) lol go read it R&R is greatly appreciated.

Then there's my fantasy which I haven't written in a long time...it's gotten me a bit frustrated. It's called A Time of Tales Told My muse has left me high and dry on it, but I'm hoping that something will inspire me to continue. it. And of course there's the poetry.

Anyway...to those of you who have commented and R&R ed...thanks.
