Author has written 90 stories for Life, Song, Fantasy, Friendship, Fantasy, General, War, Family, Nature, Biography, Love, General, and Haiku. November 20, 2008: I have not been able to write a single lyric as of late. I think I can do better than that. Shadow: "a faint indication; foreshadowing" "SING as though no one can hear you. DANCE as though no one is watching you. LOVE as though you have never been hurt." To those who understood, for those who cared, and for those who mean so much: this is for you. Well hello there-- welcome to my profile. Many of you know me as Shadow (gee, I wonder why) or even by my real name which is none of your business. I gladly invite you to read some of my work that I have left here. It has changed a lot since I first got here, hasn't it? Here is a little bit about myself: I have been writing since 2003-4. My writing style and my overall skill has changed and improved ever since I started, I continue to experiment with different fields of writing to further both categories. I have written many kinds of things to try and challenge myself, and I am up for a new thing to write. If you have a challenge for me, I will gladly accept it. As for my career and what I plan to do with my life, I am still unsure as of this present moment. I want to do something with my creativity skills, which I apparently have (go figure). Other thoughts consist of teaching and business administration, though, I am heavily leaning on the former. My writing on this site focuses mostly on the events that I have seen and how I have lived my life. I lost someone that meant a lot to me, my second father almost, and I have changed ever since (for the better). To describe myself in few words, I was a misanthrope before I changed. I hated everyone, including myself. That was why I was at least twice suicidal, if not more. I've had to watch a lot go on around me, involving divorce, which makes me thankful my parents are in a healthy relationship and aren't looking towards divorce. I experienced neglect in my past, and I am who I am because of it. I have God to thank for my presence here, for He's the reason I'm still here and not in a grave because of suicide or some other stupid decision I've made. I do a lot of listening in my life, and I've grown quite good at it as well as giving advice. So you got anything on your mind and need someone to scream at, I'm the person to go to. Email me, use one of my IMing servers, or ask me for my Skype. I'll be happy to give any advice that I have gathered in my years of experience on this Earth. I am a Christian, just to let you know-- this might make me biased on some areas of psychology... and everything else. But I won't push my religion onto you, I promise you that. Anyhow, to digress from the above paragraphs, I invite you to read everything I have here. There are some things which I don't see applying anymore, and a couple I'm not overly fond of. Other pieces I read and I wonder "How the heck did I write that?" I won't recommend things, since what you view as good and what I do are probably very different. I just hope you enjoy what I have.
