I'm 19 and am a sophomore in college. Most know me by the penname (now nickname) Kolie. I love writing and have been weaving fiction ever since I learned how to write in complete sentences. My main genre is angst, but I try my hardest to delve into horror...and at times, fluff and happy stuff. Given the amount of angst in any typical story that I write, there is always a love story of some sort woven into the plot...
I am one of those people commonly referred to as a "rabid yaoi fangirl," which means that a lot of my work will contain yaoi. Yaoi, for those of you who don't know, is a romantic relationship between two males. So far, all of my fan fiction has a main yaoi pairing. Even works with a main het pairing, like Rayne, will contain a yaoi pairing. Behind a yaoi fangirl, I write yaoi lemons. Don't say that you weren't forewarned!!...
I'm also a laid back person with a very morbid, sadomasochistic, and sarastic sense of humor. A LOT of my writing deals with self-injury (i.e. cutting, etc...) and suicide because I write about what I know and I was a cutter for two years and have been on the brink of suicide (but those of you who have read "In Love and Hate" know this already). To anyone reading this who deals/has dealt with self-injury...BE STRONG! Life sucks, I know, but things will get better, I promise... If you ever need a person to listen, rant in an e-mail. I'll be glad to help you work things out...
