Author has written 43 stories for Religion, Love, Life, and Nature. So, hi. I'm Sam. I've been writing poetry since the summer, and have been learning a lot as I write. My girlfriend, and my friend Dave were the ones who really got me started. Since then, whenever I get a random phrase or line, I'll do what I can to make a poem from it. I take criticism pretty well, as long as it's not just bashing me. I'm a freshman at Keene State College, A christian around many who are not, and a Man distanced from his lovely girlfriend. The only one who makes it all work is my Father above, and he's the object of most of my poetry, the other is my girlfriend. Maybe someday I'll write about something else, but for now, they are my two great loves and inspiration. (by the way, my girlfriend's username is AliBethy...we tend to write about each other a lot...hehe) I'm also a musician. I sing, play drums, and play guitar. I've been toying with song writing, and will soon share a few. But it's an undeveloped craft. I hope that this website provides me with some positive growth in my recent interest in poetry. It'll be about a year in July that I've really been writing. As of now, I have about 60-70 individual thoughts. Are they all amazing? No, but I like to think you've gotta start somewhere. | |||||||||
