TIME FOR A REVAMP!!

Once upon a time, I started an account here to see if my work-in-progress story, Rising Darkness, was any good. One year and a few edits later, I still only have around two chapters typed up, and I still can't figure out where this thing is going, if anywhere. So now I'm back, starting fresh, and actually going to keep writing!

In the meantime (that is, about a year), I was spending nearly all my time at my DeviantART account and posting drawings and writing there. I have watchers and people that like my art, but I need a place where there are actual writers that want to read my stuff and help me become a better writer. Not just people who say, "Yeah, this is great and all, but I wanna see drawings, dammit!", but people like me who need constructive criticism and helpful tips and tricks and... well, I'm just rambling now.

Last year in November of 2007, I discovered a thing called NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month. I embarked on this write-50,000-words-in-a-month mission and, exactly a month and 6 days later, I'm still trying to finish the darn thing. I'm not giving up without a fight on this one! I hope to edit this one and get it ready for posting, or possibly publishing. But now I feel bad. With Rising Darkness, I didn't feel like finishing it, so I just let it sit in the back burner. But with my NaNoWriMo novel, I had a deadline, but I missed it, so I feel like I should finish it to provide myself with closure.

So here I am, starting fresh with some new material, other than my crappy Rising Darkness stuff that I haven't edited yet, and a new user name. While I'm here and putting my life over the last few months in a nutshell, I'll put some basic stuff about me here, seeing as it is a profile page.
