NOTE: I'm back!! ^-^

~Me~

17. English. An obsessive author, reluctantly aspiring poet. Inquisitive. Fascinated by colour. Vegetarian. Too quick at finding faults with people. Quiet. Philosophy lover. Eve, in more than one sense of the word. Dreamer. The one who presents a happy face to the world or hides any face at all. Music-lover, both in creation and appreciation. Fervent reader. Pacifist. Hater of labels. Passionate but hides it always. Too analytical for my own good. Atheist, but open-minded. Searcher of symbolism in everything. Romantic at heart. Cynical but trying to forget how to be. Easily hurt but no-one knows it. The worst self-doubter in the universe. Truly, I'm not all that different from anyone else. I just pretend not to know it.

~My Writing~

Posted:
Quelin's Tale
This is a long story - more of a novel really. My serious work. As soon as it's finished it will be edited, so excuses if the early chapters (in particular) are a little rough.

Letters from a Toothpick Fiend
Writing this was the most fun I've had in ages. Truly. Not a serious story in any respect. Was written primarily to cheer myself up, and exercise my comic side.

And it's gone...
Thoughts, I suppose. Usually less than twenty words - attempts to capture a moment before it flits from my grasp - is gone...

My Butterflies
In progress. One of many collections currently saved on my computer, don't know if I'll post any of the others. One shots, all around 500 words (one side of A4) each.

In Progress:
But, Malino
The country of Yloro isstruggling to defend its tiny self after the death of its king and queen. Follow the lives of four of the palace inhabitants as they struggle for more than just stability. My current favourite project. Will begin posting after Quelin's Tale is complete (There's only so much I can do at once!)
Fantasy/Romance
Current Length: 36 Pages

Halcyone means kingfisher
Halcyone is a normal teenager, struggling against her family to become her own person, trying to deal with friends, romance, and growing up. Except she's not a normal teenager. She's a mermaid. Scales, fangs, and all. Very very fun to write. Not quite sure where it's going. But I've become strangely attracted to the idea of guys with tails...
Fantasy/Romance
Current Length: About 12 pages (Writer's block's a killer.)

~Reviews~

I'm seriously behind on reviewing at the moment - school work has to take priority. I will attempt to return all reviews as a matter of principle. Longer stories will always take longer for me to read. I will get back to you, though.

I'm a con-crit reviewer, when I can be, and prefer CC reviews on my own work, if you feel you can. I'm here primarily to improve my own writing, and can use all the help I can get.

~Other~

Feel free to email me whenever, about whatever. I love to meet people. ^-^ Email's at the top.

If you have a spare moment, I'm sure it would be appreciated if you could check out the stories and authors on my Favourites lists. They're all fantastic writers, and deserve recognition.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Wolfeh for starting this whole account, I owe you a lot. And to both Autumn Dance and Wolfeh, who I can always rely on to support me. There are a million others who I'd love to put up here, but I think you all know who you are.
