It's been about nine months since I've written here, and I doubt that anyone checks my profile but in case anyone does, here's what's going on.

I've set Xotl's Revenge aside for now, but I have gotten a chance to rework it a bit. It's got a fab (in my opinion) new plot, a very different set of characters and it's spilled over and become a duology, which I'm actually quite excited about, as I'll be able to explore a part of Rosa's life that I'd thought out, but never actually thought I'd write.

What I am working on and have been for about ... wow, almost a year ... sort of, is an older story. It's actually the first story I ever set in Naeirgh and in some ways can be considered a 'prequel' to Xotl's Revenge. I'm very excited about it, as it has a full plot and cast and I'm getting closer by the day to beginning it. I just need to find the motivation to start up. I signed up for a writing course in nightschool which isn't working so well. My backup is NaNoWriMo and my other plan is giving my first chapter to my friend as a birthday gift (because she loves the story and is one of my biggest supporters, and also because I can't compete with the expensive riding boots one of her other friends gave her).

So there you go, that's what's new with me. =)
