“Once my sister told me that I wore my heart on my sleeve and I started sobbing. I really thought that it summed me up entirely. I do wear my heart on my sleeve, blatantly… obviously. Sometimes, I wish others would see it as well—that I’m not just the quiet girl in a corner, but that I’m another person who is hoping, no yearning, to be accepted and liked. My sister is my best friend and confidant because she sees me for who I am and I love her for it. I just wish that there are more people out there that could see it as well. My heart, my soul, my entire being is just right here. Please accept it.”
