I've been writing since a young age. The work you see here was written over the last four or five years, which is why a lot of it is pretty bad in quality. However, I post my work before going through the editing process, so keep in mind most of the errors and poor structure and plot have since been fixed.
Most of my work is supernatural horror, some of it is science fiction. I love to experiment with different techniques for delivering stories. Thus, The Journal is written in the form of journal entries, Missing Hours is in the form of letters between two men, The Price of a Haunted Doll is in the form of an eBay listing of an item, etc.
Also, a lot of my stories seem to be one shots, and many of them have very open endings. The reason for this is that most, if not all of them are connected in some way or another, even if said connections are not visible yet.
I am a fan of constructive criticism. The most important person in a writer's life is not his editor, but his readers. After all, what good is writing if it is never read? I have come to realize that some things in my stories do not make sense. Of course I understand them, but that's to be expected; I wrote it. Thus, when someone leaves me a review telling me that they didn't get it, I learn that some things need to be changed so that other readers can also understand.
I get a lot of different interpretations of my writing. I like this; the very first instance of it upset me because I felt I had not made the point clear. But soon afterward it ocurred to me that people get different meanings out of different things, so now I tend to enjoy the idea of something of mine meaning a lot of different things to a lot of different people.
NOTE: If you review one of my stories, please do not give away any spoilers in the review. Some people read the reviews before the story to see if they really want to read it or not, and I've always hated spoilers.
