'Every word written is a victory against death.' - Michel Butor

'Writing is communication, not self-expression. Nobody in this world wants to read your diary except your mother.' - Richard Peck

A/S/L: 15. Estrogen. The basement.

An artist and student by trade, but superhero poet and wordsmith on Sundays at lunch. Weapon of choice: the 0.3 mm ballpoint pen, always freshly inked through a tube connecting it to my heart. Mmm, bloodshed on paper.

Common themes in my writing: dust, apples, love, seraphim, hands.

I've been writing since I was about three years old and grew up on books.

My former account is 'zoli and the pandasocks', which chronicled my sixth-through-seventh-grade self. I've changed so much since then and don't feel like my work then belongs side-by-side with my current pieces. http://www.fictionpress.com/u/533538/

I don't actually post in the order I write. From earliest to most recent: My Bittersweet Ballad, Four-Part Unharmony, Anthem, All:Love, The AntiCompass, Doubtless Heaven, The Painted Samaritan, Love Needs No Name, The Velveteen Seraphim, Edensong, The Ash Queen, Heartbeat, Her Last Note, Gravestone, Heartbeat II, Love Never Does, Cold-Blooded Boys, The Glassmaker's Lament, What We Did to Me, The Postmodernist's War, The Monster Prince, Le Chasse, Angel/Raven/Phoenix. There's a story and meaning behind each one.
