A brief explanation of me: I'm a college student who enjoys writing poetry and fiction in my spare time (and in my not so spare time to the occasional annoyance of my teachers). My primary passion is fantasy, followed closely by romance, humor, and mystery. I don't plan to have any of my works published (as if I could), I mainly just write for personal enjoyment.
Honestly I consider myself to be a better editor than writer, but then again who doesn't find it easier to criticize someone else's work rather than write their own? Even so, I love editing stories, so if anyone out there is looking for a detailed critic, please let me know!
My Stories
Power of Shadows : Currently on hold as it goes through revisions. My first story. Still working on finding it an appropriate title. Basically an attempt to create a cliched fantasy story: magic, unlikely heroes, villians, swords, damsels in distress, so on and so forth...and then completely mess with the concept of good and evil. Not sure how it's going to look in the end, but I am definitely going to have fun writing it.
Journal of an Unstable Insomniac: Excerpts from my personal journal arranged in an apparently humorous manner. Originally meant to be a one-shot, but due to enthusiastic reviews it looks like I'm going to have to make it a multiple chapter story. Sigh. Anyway, for the record, yes, these are taken from my journal, yes, I am an insomniac, and yes, most of the events in this story are completely made up.
A brief word to readers and (hopefully) reviewers: when reading my work, please point
out any mistakes, grievances, annoyances, errors, etc. that you can
find. As a fairly new writer, I want to know about any problems you
have with my work so that I can improve in the future. Thanks!
