Did you ever get the feeling that everything you see in front of you is just the front cover of a magazine, and that one day the man holding it up is going to get bored with that page and you'll see the world waver and ripple, but if you scream he'll set the paper down, eye you inquisitively, and say, "Well, what's this then? A bug? What are you doing in my cupboard?" and then he'll reach out and squish you? Do you ever get that feeling? Cause I do sometimes. And whenever the world starts to waver and ripple, I make sure to be verystill and make as little noise as possible, so as not to provoke the magazine-reading man into squishing me and all the people and things I hold dear. Just in case... Anyway... I am: evansentranced A review for something I wrote once went along these lines: "Luna: I can die childless and happy now that I have read The Velocipede."
