Okay, I know most of you don't care much about me, probably just my writing, so I'll make this short and sweet so we can move on to writing updates and my work itself.
I generally go by Sady nowadays. Not many people use my real name, even my family. I'm seventeen, and I (finally) have my permit. I'm a senior in high school. I'm a Christian, Lutheran to be exact. I'm a brown-eyed/brown-haired shy girl from a very small town where nothing ever happens. I'm a singer/piano player (not professionally, of course), obviously I'm a writer, and I'm constantly reading. It's a very rare thing to find me without a book or one of my writing notebooks. I'm addicted to musicals, maybe to the point of obession. I love manga. That's about it. Oh, yeah, I'm a crazy cat lady. I currently own four, plus a dog.
Writing updates:
-Way big update!! I'm now up to seven stories! Crazy, I know. But as a former fanfiction writer, that's nothing. After these updates, I'll write summaries for them, hopefully all, but who knows? It will likely be awhile before you see them, though, because I feel that it is unfair to make you wait months, if not longer at times, for me to update. So I will wait until I finish them, then give you regular updates. When/if you review, it would be much appreciated if you'd tell me what intervals you think I should update at. After I finish the stories, I may be shopping around for a publisher (it's my dream to get at least something of mine published in my lifetime), and if someone agrees to publish it, I will remove the story. Advance apologies to those who review.
-I've finally gotten up to two chapter on the vampire story I'm working on. It'll probably be the first to appear on here because it is my baby.
-As of right now, I'm on a somewhat writing hiatus. School's starting up, I'm hoping to find a job, I'm looking into college related stuff, I've got a senior project to do, and I'm doing research for my writing. So it may be some time before you see much on here besides the sporatic poetry posts I do. I apologize for the extremely long length of time between these last two. I'll try to do some more in the next few days.
-Please keep in mind that I do not write a ton of poetry, contrary to what it may seem. All that I'm posting and have posted are poems that I have amassed over my 6-year writing career. Once I've gotten caught up, I will post when I finish one, but it may be several weeks in between posts. If I disappoint, I aplogize. I've got more pressing matters right now, as you can probably see from the update above.
And without further ado, the summaries!! (As a side note, most of these titles are subject to change. Summaries are likely to be the same, occasionally may have minor changes by posting time.)

Hey, I’m Daphne Welch. For me, life was perfect. Well, as perfect as it could be. I had a great boyfriend (a coke addict, but, hey, who isn’t in this lovely area of the Big Apple?), a steady job (waitressing, on my feet all day, but it pays the bills), and a place of my own (a small five-floor walkup without AC, but who cares? I call it home). And then it all crashed. After some routine blood work, my doctor told me I had all the red flags that indicated I had HIV/AIDS. It seemed to me, that life had ended right there.

It's a new world. Vampires live openly in the human world. All is peaceful, until a rogue hunter begins killing the good vampires, the ones who don't feed on humans. The vampires of New York City fear their lives are at risk, particularly one coven, who see personal connections in the murders. As the killing spree continues, they ask themselves: who will be next?
