I'm not updating anytime soon, if ever.

The story Shivaun and I started (Imperfect Perfection is here btw) will be continued (at least that's what we promised each other and I really hope we each keep that promise) depending on our scheduling conflicts but everything else (aka all the stories under this penname) I'm probably never going to update.

Looking back, all my stories from the past all seem ill-formed. Last semester, I decided to crash a friend's lecture (she was doing a BA) and I learned so much about story development, characters and syntax. It made me realize what an idiot I was for a) not ever doing a GE paper in a creative writing course like I always dreamed of and b) how horrible my writing skills were even as recent as six months ago.

I have no time to write anymore, let alone edit. I barely have time to sleep and right now its 6.15 pm (Friday) and I just woke up from the party I went to that started on Thursday. I only had one drink.

It's my inter-semester break right now and I'm so not looking forward to starting my masters next semester. I have so many things I'd rather be doing at 18 but right now, my top priorities are finishing a novel so my friend's mother, who works as a freelance editor, can give me advice and criticism on it, and also, enjoy picking up my social life again.

As always, I'm severely tempted to tamper and edit my previous stories but I guess there really isn't any point. I have no time and since the beginning of March, my creativity has all but left me replaced by mental diagrams of all the side-groups in each amino acid and which codons read for each -- my brain still hasn't recovered! Once upon a time, I thought that memorizing the reactions between ketones and aldehydes or telling the difference between carboxyl and carbonyl groups were hard. I miss those days so much.

I'm all too aware of the disappointment many of my readers who have me on story/author alert will face and all I can say is that I'm genuinely sorry.

There are plenty of other fantastic stories on this site though and I'm sure that my not writing anymore won't affect anyone's enjoyment of reading for more than ten seconds.
