Author has written 3 stories for Supernatural, Sci-Fi, and Mythology.

Since people are actually starting to read my stories, I suppose it's only fair to divulge a little info about myself.

I really enjoy writing. I hope to be an author someday, but I have other goals I want to persue in my life first. Obviously I won't post any work that I want to save for publication, but I will post a lot of my stories on here.

I love languages. I'm such a linguistics dork that it's not even funny. I bought a Turkish to English dictionary a few weeks ago just for fun. I'm taking both Spanish and Chinese at school and I just bought Rosetta Stone software for Arabic. This means that I'm either ambitious or crazy. You be the judge. This nerdiness will find its way into some of my writing and I plan on eventually writing a few stories centering around language and culture shock.

I have a rather dark, sarcastic sense of humor and it often shows in my more contemporary writing. I also love throwing in tons of references to shows, books, movies, and other pop culture in, especially in dialogue and first-person narration. I also much prefer clever, witty humor over slapstick comedy, which I try (and often fail) to incorporate in my writing.

And as you may have noticed, I love science fiction, mythology, and fantasy/fiction/supernatural/obscure stuff. I will be using these genres a lot in my writing.

Upcoming works (tentative):

The Time-Surfing Chronicles -- Jack decided to tell Tori that Earth was being invaded by aliens. It all went downhill from there. Cannibalistic extraterrestials, evil time lords, sadomasochistic friends, and neurotic neighbors were definitely not what Tori had bargained for when she got home from work one fateful day.

Lords of Olympus -- Being a ruler is never easy, especially when you're a god. You have to deal with screwed up family relationships, crazy siblings, stupid mortals, boredem, and all those little things that happen on the job. Then again, it's not that bad. Told from the perspectives of Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus.

Announcements:

11/8/09 -- Updated twice in one day. This is a new record for me. Only one more chapter to go! Yay! Then I can start working on the Lords of Olympus.
