Author has written 4 stories for Action, Fantasy, Thriller, and Romance. About Me: Name: Kevin. You can call me Jonny, though. :P Favorite Colors: Most muted colors. Bright and obnoxious = No. Extra Info: I like being grumpy, but I also like being ridiculously kind. I'm overly honest, blunt and direct. I like consecutive numbers. (12, 23, 34, 45, etc.) I'm also an enormous dork, something I take a strange pride in. I do consider myself a misanthrope, and believe nature is a wonderful thing, something I'd prefer over people and the streets I live on. I eat more than I should for someone of my thinness, and will eat virtually anything provided it's spicy enough. I've never found a four leaf clover, and I blame my constantly horrible luck on that. I'm also not good at all when it comes to making dandelion wishes, can never remember the silly rhyme for wishing on a star, and have never had a birthday wish come true. I'm pretty open-minded and understanding. I'm horrible at falling asleep. Other Accounts: Important! As you'd probably have imagined, I'm an aspiring writer. Eventually, I plan on getting my writing published, but until then, I'm going to upload it and share it with all of you so I can get some constructive criticism and critiques on my writing. (Hint, please review.) Of my three current projects, I'm working the hardest on The Broken Chain. The other two, The Black Screen and Seasonal Loves are works I write to break up the monotony when I'm bored of TBC. I'm in college with a major in Environmental Engineering, so I'm not always posting every day, but I do make a habit of writing whenever I can. Story Summaries: The Broken Chain: A horror/fantasy tale about a boy who loses his memory after falling into an ocean that steals the memories and souls of those who fall in. By chance, he's saved by a fisherman who happens by and is pulled into the world of Eterna, while he struggles through his childhood and into his adulthood to attain power so he can hunt his past and establish himself a future in a world filled with strange powers, people and prejudices. The Black Screen: A young woman on summer break from college gets a letter from her mother, requesting her to return home for a little while. The young woman can't seem to shake the urgency in her mother's handwriting, and returns home to find that a shocking event has occurred without her being informed. What's more shocking is the secret her father left behind in the laptop that never turns on and only ever displays a black screen. Seasonal Loves: Simply a series of short stories surrounding the themes of various seasons in nature and the emotion of love. Story Statuses: (so you can know where I stand on my writing, when I'm taking breaks, etc) General Status: D&D:Online has seriously been sapping all my free time and will to write because it's so damned fun. Gonna put DDO down for a little while though, and proofread some of the chapters I have finished and upload them soon. The Broken Chain: The Black Screen: Seasonal Loves: Feel free to PM me and ask to chat on AIM, Yahoo or MSN with me. I like talking with my readers. :D | |||||||
