Author has written 14 stories for Life, Young Adult, Friendship, and Love. Hey everybody... Here are some basic facts about me: Nickname: Mitzu I've been writing since 2004, but, until now, I haven't had the courage to publish any of my writings. But I don't want you to hold back in your critic of me, just because I'm a "newbie". But beware, flames will be used to fuel my laptop. Somehow... Hehe... Most of what I write are free verse poems. I do NOT have a talent for writing poems that rhyme and have a rhythm, it just doesn't turn out very well. Almost all of my works are of the darker, sadder perspective. Those are the feelings I write best, in my opinion, anyway. My updating will be sporadic, at best. I don't write with a schedule, only when inspiration strikes me, and my muses likes to disappear now and again. If you are interested in the HP-verse, I've written a short one-shot at Fanfiction.net. Here is the link to my profile. Most of my poetry will be either influenced or dedicated to my dad, even if I haven't written it in the poem itself. His death effected me greatly, and he is the reason I'm writing at all. Here are a few quotes I've collected over time: "It’s better to be hated for what one is, than to be loved for what one is not" "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" "Don't confront me with my failures, I had not forgotten them." - These Days, Jackson Browne "The aim of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his" "I don't suffer from insanity - I enjoy every minute of it." "I'm not anti-social - I just don't like you!" "Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counsellors, and the most patient of teachers." - Charles W. Eliot "Never judge a book by its movie." - J. W. Eagan "Be as careful of the books you read, as of the company you keep; for your habits and character will be as much influenced by the former as by the latter." - Paxton Hood "You can tell the character of every man when you see how he receives praise." – Seneca "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody." Bill Cosby "Everyone’s entitled to be stupid, but you’re abusing the privilege." "Anger is only one letter short of danger." "Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, but beautiful old people are works of art." "Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself." "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools talk because they have to say something." Plato "Wise men don't need advice. Fools don't take it." Benjamin Franklin. "You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it."--Robin Williams That's all folks! Take Care, | |||||||||
