| Lily Laurence |
Author has written 14 stories for General, Life, Fantasy, Romance, and Young Adult. Name: Lily Laurence Age: 17 Location: WI So a little about me . . . The most important thing anyone needs to know is that I believe in triumph, and the inherent goodness of the humanity. I love to write, it's like breathing, like a diary. I hope that comes through. I have a lot of older work posted - though I'm considering taking some old poetry and ramblings down. Currently I'm working on revamping my previous story "Emily Chaste". It didn't go in quite the direction I wanted the first time around (plus it's unfinished), but it truly is my baby and the main story line will not be abandoned. Until the new version is up I won't take down the first. I really appreciate comments on any of my work, anyone who writes knows how great it is to get feedback. Next year I will be studying writing in college and hopefully more pieces will show up on FictionPress. Some Favorite Quotes: "War does not tell us who is right- only who is left" "In passing, also, I would like to say that the first time Adam had a chance, he laid the blame on a woman." "Fairytales are more than true. Not because they tell us dragons exsist. But because they tell us dragons can be beaten." "Fall down seven times, stand up eight." "Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." “Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow'.” | |||||||
