Author has written 100 stories for Love, Life, Humor, Play, Horror, Essay, General, Romance, Song, Humor, Friendship, General, Biography, Fantasy, Spiritual, Young Adult, and Sci-Fi.

Here is my other account for q is for quirks. And here is my website. :)

My name is Yon Yonson. I come from Wisconsin. I work in de lumberyard der. And all de people I meet as I walk down the street say "Hello there! What's your name?" And I say, "My name is Yon Yonson, I come from Wisconsin..."

Hehe. Not really, that's just a rhyme my grandpa made up.

So here's who I actually am.

My real name is Carissa, and I adopted my character's nickname for my screen name (from English Paper). My pseudonym is CM Hanson. Gender neutral. I'm a really big dork, a total fangirl, and my three biggest dreams in life are two 1) Have a wheelchair race, 2) Get that table at Barnes and Noble, and 3) Take pictures of every single tree in Brooklyn so I can put them online and caption them "A tree grows in Brooklyn... and another one... and another one..."

I would say that writing is all I know, but that's a stupid statement because I'm an A student (except in math and science, where I get straight C's and the occasional B), and that doesn't make sense because I have horrible study habits. I'm a college junior and finally decided to stick with a Creative Writing major and a Psychology minor. I'd like to graduate before I'm 30. :)

If you're wondering why I leave "snacks" at the end of all of my stories and poems, then this is why: because I want people to like me. Call me crazy. It started when I was first put up Fine Line. I thought, "Hey! Maybe if I left a little e-snack at the end, people will review!" That was over two years ago. Now leaving a little "snack" is habit.

These are a few of my favorite things...

The color blue, Pon and Zi, Lord of the Rings, Little Caeser's italian cheese bread, Transformers, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Windows Movie Maker, Childrin R Skary, Relient K, the Pieces of Flair application on Facebook, Scrubs, my Directory of Quotes, Finding Nemo, blank paper, The Office, mechanical pencils, crayons, colored pencils, Harry Potter, my camera, Chronicles of Narnia, swimming, YouTube, pretty much all old shows and movies, riding with my sister to the library, studying WW2, Wall-E, studying psychology, Chuck, the elementary school playground, Stellar Kart, girls nights/days, Serenity, college and career group, Songs to Wear Pants To, dipping fries in frosties, EleventySeven, 30 Rock, Chex Mix, Serenity, making mixed CDs, the symptom checker on WebMD, smilies, Family Force 5, listening to my "Happy Q" CD while on walks and muttering to self "Must... resist... dancing..." :)

Things that I hate with the passion of a thousand Betelgeuses

Math, science, logic (class subject, that is), Lit. Interpretation (class), the words "religious" or "religion," BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death- computer), Gmail kicking me off, chatspeak, casseroles and anything else that you can't tell what went in it (except hot dogs), how it's near impossible to find an available school computer in the afternoon, sleep deprivation, Mary Sues and Gary Stues, writer's block, smoke of any kind, Eragon, Twilight (hides from fangirls), bad grammar and spelling, and keys that stick on the keyboard.

OK, onto something else...

People who rock: They're all very talented writers and very nice people in general.

Murphy's Lawyer You should read her oneshots, because they are awesome, and you ESPECIALLY need to read "Not Quite" and "Life's Little Chances" and "A Cold Grey Dawn" because they rock hard like... something that rocks hard.

CaveDwellers wrote a really cool story called "The Blue Rose," which is awesome beyond belief, and there is no doubt in my mind that it's one of the best stories here. She's been writing an equally cool story called "Something Like Hercules."

IdeasInTheAir She's famous for her clearing-up sections, but she writes hilariously funny stories and awesome poems, so check out her stuff.

The below haven't updated in about forever. That doesn't mean they're any less awesome.

RT michaels One of my favorites. He writes really, really sad stuff. You need to read "This Boy Cries" and "Sunflower." It'll break your heart.

Hey Its Me Again Fantastic poet. He only has a few poems, but they're well worth reading.

Homey Hilarious guy. Read everything. Just everything.

About select stories:

--My baby, Fine Line--

(T) Fine Line: (Edits are slooowwwly coming in) The story according to Ophelia's Devils (it's long!):

“Hello, my name is Keiran ‘Sherlock’ Holmes, also known as Rubber Ducky… and… why do you guys call me Sherlock?”

“Irony’s sake. I’m Garrett ‘Platypus’ LeBlanc, and there is no logical reason why people call me Platypus. Anyways. This story is called Fine Line and it’s about our experiences from seventh grade to ninth grade, and then an epilogue basically covers everything else about us…”

“Us being me, Keiran, Gary, Caomhe- who is the love of my life, Fiona, Charlie (AKA Clementine), Joeri- nicknamed Mongoose, Celia, and Leah, who has a cool British accent. Cuz that’s where she’s from.”

“Ehem.”

“Sorry.”

“In this book, you will find Keiran pursuing Caomhe like a dog pursuing… well, anything that moves… and you’ll also find the wonders of Granny Holmes’ chocolate chip cookies, the terrors of math class, a few reasons why you shouldn’t give us energy drinks, swing set action, games of tag, umm… what else?”

“Lots of funny stuff, like the time with getting back at Milo-”

“And the time with the dingy boat and cannibalism-”

“I don’t think I was there for that…”

“Oh yeah, you were at camp.”

“OK. But there’s lots of drama, too.”

“Oh yeah. Like the Sledding Incident.”

“That was particularly nasty and dramatic.”

“But you got a totally cool scar.”

“Oh yeah! …What were we talking about again?”

“Why people should read our story.”

“Because it’s about us. Duh.”

“…You depress me sometimes, Rubber Ducky. Why are you even called that?”

“Cuz I’m the one.”

“Of course.”

(K+) Fine Line: Essence of Maturity: It's a series of Fine Line oneshots about life, kids, marriage, food, college, and all that jazz. :) (neglected)

(K) Sentiments of Hatred: It's about the years when Keiran and Caomhe hated the pants off each other. ;) (neglected)

(K) Daddy's Not-So-Little Girl: This is a oneshot about Keiran and Caomhe's daughter Evie and watching her grow up. It goes full circle: It starts when Evie's born and ends when Evie gives birth to a daughter of her own. (oneshot)

(T) Caomhe's Worst Fear: It's an idea I've been playing around with for a while and finally decided to write it. It's an alternate ending for "Black and White and Red All Over" (the chapter where Keiran is hit by a car). (neglected)

(T) Duct Tape Fixes Everything- the sequel to Fine Line (abandoned on account of other stuff)

(K+) One of Those Days- a Duct Tape oneshot: It's about Benny having a really bad day. :) (oneshot)

(K+) Sod You, Evander Phillips: A Fine Line CANON oneshot about Leah and Evander!

--The Tsu-Min Galaxy Trilogy--

Book One (M) The Wonderful World of Imminent Doom: (You can find the long synopsis here, but this is the extremely short one.) The Tsu-Min Galaxy thought that no war could ever rival the Interplanetary War. But thirty years later, they did it again. And they did it worse. Billions across the galaxy are being killed. No one is safe. Six ordinary soldiers have been thrown into the thick of it. It's getting harder to keep hope with each day, but they will, if only for each other.

Quote synopsis: "Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all." - Dale Carnegie

So some kind person nominated The Wonderful World of Imminent Doom for SKoW for Best Non-Romance! I got really super excited because... why wouldn't I be? :D Just being nominated was a shock and a delight, so whoever did it... THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! I would glomp you if I knew who you were.

Soon you will be able to buy WWID on Amazon. Why? Well, because of CreateSpace! WWID was a NaNoWriMo '08 story, which I won, thank you very much, and CreateSpace made an offer to all the NaNo winners for a free proof copy of their book THEN another option of selling it on Amazon. I took the opportunity- and freaked out here.

Book Two (On the to-do list...) (T) Nosco-a-Dei: He told her that he would always come back. The death toll is rising and she's still waiting...

It's about the first Interplanetary War, except from a civilian POV. It's about a girl whose true love is drafted in the war and then bad stuff happens. :) The title is a spoiler in itself, so I'm not saying what it means. It sets everything up for the last book by questioning nearly everything about the galaxy.

Book Three (K+?) Event Horizon: Once upon a time, there was a writer, there was an artist, there was a light, and everything as we know it was in flux.

You can read the blog I'm doing for a grade that is about the progress of Event Horizon. :)

Oneshots:

(K) Not Enough: Tal talks to Sim about their friendship.

(K) A Young Nerdy Boy's Library Book: It's about Sim being bullied. Poor kid. :( But yes, it is supposed to be funny.

(K) First 'Pressions: It's a collection of short stories about Sim, Tig, Tal, Kit, and Kaye when they were younger.

--Other stories--

(K+) 100 Reasons: Geez, I'm doing extremely terribly on this. It's got that whole unrequited love thing going. I'll try to have an update soon.

(K) Love Poems for Nerds: A collaboration of, well, love poems for nerds! :D I've been having issues thinking of ideas lately.

(T) Seven Days to Win Gwen Labelle: It's about a boy who decides to make a girl he's never even talked to like him in a week. I wanted to get this done in February... EPIC FAIL! Woot. x_x

(K+) Right Under Your Nose: It's one of those best friends fall in love stories. :P Cliched? Totally.

(K+) English Paper: How We Survived Public Education: This is the first book in four. It's a collaboration project about... everything. :) It's fun. Unrealistic and you can tell that most of it was written by high school girls because there's an overdose on romance. Stories: The Beginning of the End; 565 Ways to Say No; WAR; Tale of the Sedden-thing (the story that started it all!); Revenge of the Sedden-Thing; The Final Showdown, Camping Story. Aaand Chapter Ten (Backfire) was nominated as Most Humorous Scene for the Booyah Awards

(K) Decision 2008: Cookies or Donuts: This is my favorite play, hands down. It's about sibling rivalry in a bakery. (one scene)

(T) The Dance: Aha. Wow. I... really don't know what happened. I just kinda opened Word and started writing and that's what happened. I've never written like that before... it's totally screwy. (oneshot.)

Plot Bunnies:

(K+?) Fix It! (Working title inspired by SNL): It's about a girl named Rose who falls for this complete jerk, Justin, and she wants to "fix" him. Meanwhile, she's failing math so she has to get a tutor, and his name is Isaac. Kinda obvious where I'm going with this, isn't it?
Summary: She wanted to fix him. He wanted to be left alone. Her math tutor wanted... her. This would end well.

(T) WATCH: If you read the poem I wrote of the same name, you might get a notion on what it's about. If FP throws a fit about the same titles, the poem's name will be changed to LOOK. This just might be the most serious thing I'll write.
Summary: Where's the best place to hide something?

(T) Play On! (WT): This is my way of telling Shakespeare to shove it up where the sun doesn't shine. I'm retelling Twelfth Night because it certainly is giggle-worthy and very cute.
Summary: It's very simple. Connie is in love with Topher, who's in love with Bianca, who is infatuated with Connie because Connie is dressed up like a boy, but Alvin has a thing for Bianca and... everything ensues.

Stuff that may never see the light of day:

(K) The Three Witches: This... isn't my story. It's my great-aunt's. She told it to my cousin Amy and Amy copied down the plot for me to write, except neither of us know the ending. It's a kid story. :) And I've been too lazy to write it... (oneshot)

(T) Love Shy: I saw this entry on Wikipedia about love shyness and it was just begging to have a story about it. So here's the working summary: “So now what am I? Your autsi… atisu…" “You’re my autischizoleptic leukemia-ridden love shy friend.” (oneshot?)
