Author has written 4 stories for Romance, and Young Adult.

My name is Courtney, but I have been known to answer to "hey girl." I'm probably a little nerdy because I still am known to dance to "MMMBop," and I have a reputation for turning every song into opera style when I'm driving. I also have a reputation for loving math, which probably makes me very nerdy. I'll try anything at least once.

I have the attention span of a gnat on crack. This is probably partially why the unpredictable story that is my life often consumes more time than my fictional stories do. Sorry about that.

I have addictions to milk chocolate M&M's, pictures, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Grinch. Some of my favorite things include God, running, friends, shopping, laughing, learning, sugarfree gum, musicals, music in general, hot guys, "The O.C." (excluding the fourth season), random accents/dialects/slang, "So You Think You Can Dance," "House" (again, exluding the fourth season so far), and especially New York City. I love flip-flops so much that I wear them year round, even when it snows. Speaking of that, I love snow too!

As far as favorite books go...I pretty much like all of the classics that everyone else always mentions, so I'll spare you on that. One of my lesser known favorite writers is Ted Dekker. He is incredible! Definitely read his "Thr3e," "Obsession," "Skin," and "Blink." Oh, and John Grisham is amazing as well.

The things I hate are various and include--but are not limited to--cockiness, bad grammar, rudeness, growing up too fast, bad drivers, lying, ridiculous amounts of homework, questions with obvious answers, people who never participate, and people who judge others unfairly.

And on one last note, I am petrified of clowns and suffering from amnesia. Whenever I hit my head on something, I have to ask myself my name, and sometimes I wonder if I'm lying to myself. Seriously, the idea of amnesia freaks me out to the point of paranoia. I'm only half kidding.

UPDATE STATUSES

The Apocalypse: It's been waaaay too long since I've updated, even though school, trips, and performances are over. Here's the hold-up: I've only been home long enough to sleep about 6 hours most days for the past month, and I'm waiting on my laptop to arrive. Still, 50 percent of chapter 14 is complete, and I promise that updates are on the way.

The Brat Pack: Coming in late June.

One-Shots: One is complete, but I'm debating on putting it up. Two others are started.

He was funny, sweet, good looking, and charming. I was cynical and mean. We shared sarcasm, inside jokes, and indisputable chemistry. It really was too bad that we also shared a stubborn pride. [One shot]
