Wow, two updates in two days. I didn't see that one coming. Anywho, chapter 8 of TTLW is up. I have to say this is my favorite chapter so far. You get to see a little bit of Nate's vulnerability and his internal conflict. And there's also some great interaction between him and Wendy. Look forward to more of that in the next chapter. (by the way, Drunk!Wendy was the most fun I've had writing in a while, lol)

I'm also working on editing my spin-off of Move Along. Ben's story should be coming out pretty soon.

These are things I'm currently working on:

Untitled--Romance--Jenna is a rookie photographer working for the city paper. When someone calls in sick she is assigned to cover a concert for the entertainment section. There she meets Seth, the drummer for a extremely popular British pop/rock band that is trying to make it big in the U.S. He takes an instant liking to Jenna, much to Jenna's annoyance. She doesn't want to like Seth; he's five years younger, famous, and from a different country. It doesn't seem like the two would have anything in common and yet...

Taking The Long Way--Romance--Wendy Robertson is attending the university of her dreams through hard won scholarships; she's not about to let her education go down the drain by letting up on her studies. However, her very persuasive roommate and best friend Julie talks her into going to a party one night where she meets Nathaniel Barstow, a wealthy and upper class fellow student. Wendy dislikes him, considering him rude and snobbish after their first meeting and hopes to never meet him again. Nate, however, is attracted to Wendy's fiery personality and angry with himself for it because he knows his parents are expecting him to only date girls from his own social circle. He does his best to avoid her at the party and hopes he doesn't run into her anywhere else. Unfortunately, their best friends are intent on dating each other which means they'll be seeing a lot more of each other than either one of them would like. This is very loosely based on Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Title and Chapter titles are song titles by the Dixie Chicks.

The Healer's Apprentice--Fantasy--Ariani's a small town girl with big dreams. She's a bit of an outcast in her village because of unusual magickal abilities and because she's apprenticing with the town's most reclusive and mysterious old man. One day a strange foreigner arrives in their village seeking a long thought dead Magi. Much to Ariani's shock her master leaves with the stranger. Not one to be left behind, Ariani follows after them beginning what becomes the journey that will change her life forever.

Also working on some short stories/one shots that I've had stored away on my computer for ages. They may or may not show up here sometime in the near future.
