Author has written 19 stories for Religion. Last updated: April 9th I am doing alot better today, it seems as though after last night I think God got tired of me asking Him where He has been at and finally decided to stop hiding from me! But i am alot better, thanks alot for your prayers guys. I really appreciate it and i hope you all the best. God bless you all. Hey everyone My name is Leah i am 17 yrs old I am a soldier in the army of my God. The Lord Jesus Christ is my commanding officer. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct. Faith, Prayer, and the Word are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity, tested be fire. I am a volunteer in this army. I am enlisted for eternity. I will either retire into this army at the rapture or die in this army but i will not get out, sell out, be talked out, or pushed out. I am faithful; reliable (Hallelujah) I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around. I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside. I cannot lose enough to make me quit. When Jesus called me into this army I had nothing. If I end up with nothing I will still come out even. I will win. My God will supply all my needs. I am more than a conqueror. I will always triumph. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Devils cannot defeat me, people cannot disillusion me, weather cannot worry me, sickness cannot stop me, battles cannot beat me, money cannot buy me, government cannot silence me, and hell sure can't handle me!! I am a soldier, even death cannot destroy me for my Commander has called me to the battlefield. I am a soldier in the army. I am marching; claiming victory. I will not give up, I will not turn around because I am a soldier marching heaven bound and He is there. Because I am a soldier I am a co-worker with Christ. If God needs me I am there. I am a soldier. I am not a baby. I don't need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up, or propped up because I am a soldier. No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me, or lure me because I am a soldier. I am not a wimp. I am in place saluting my King, obeying His order, praising His name, building His kingdom. No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy or give me a hand out. I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, or cared for because I am a soldier. I am part of the fellowship of His Holy Name. I have the Holy Spirit power, the dye has been cast I have stepped over the line, the decision has been made. I am a disciple of His. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, soothing needs, colorless dreams, thin visions, mundane talking, stingy giving, and dwarf goals. For the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few. I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotion, applause, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I live by precept. I live by faith, learn by faith, love by patience, live by prayer, and labor by power to reach as many souls as possible. (can anyone say amen?!) My faith is set, my heart is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, and my companions are few. But my God is reliable, my mission is clear. I will not be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity. Or mender in the maize if mediocre. Because I know this morning that I am a soldier. I will not give up, shut up, let go, slow down, not until I have preached, prayed up, stored up and stayed up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus. I will not give in until He comes, Or I will not give up until I drop. I will preach until all have heard and work until He stops me. And when He comes to get His own; He will have no problem recognizing me because my colors are clear....... We need some soldiers up in HERE!.... 2 Timothy 2:4 2 Timothy 2:3 my interests: My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and growing deeper and closer with Him in my daily life, my youth groups (xtreme youth) & (11:59), Playing on the worship band, rocking out on my guitar, writing poems, and a lot of other things. any questions or comments you can e-mail me at -leah | |||||||
