| Midsummer Madness |
Author has written 30 stories for Humor, Romance, Love, Fantasy, Friendship, Humor, Life, General, School, and General. Hey pplz! I am (and suffer from) Midsummer Madness! For all those who don't know what that means: it describes how people in England many many years ago used to act in the middle of summer (midsummer). They would let their hair down, go a bit crazy and do things that they wouldn't normally do. This saying just sums me up so well...except for the whole midsummer bit coz I'm like that all the time. Oh well, it sounds good. My friend got me interested in this site a little while ago (check her out: The Random Witness) and since I love to write I figured I might as well put my work up for review and see if other people out there can help me out. Helpful reviews are allowed but picking on my writing for the hell of it is definitely NOT! I hope you find somthing thing you like! mwaz & hugs The Method Behind The Madness I am a female teenager living in Perth. I write to release all the feelings I bottle up that could be dangerous if I keep them inside for too long. When I was younger, and had no idea about life, I would write funny little poems and stories - a few of which I have found and put up for your viewing pleasure. As I got older I stopped writing because I got lazy and, suddenly, one day I started again!!! OK, the actual story wasn’t that dramatic. In English we were doing poetry and we had to write our own sonnet. I loved writing it and everyone seemed to like it (Hidden From Their Eyes - Check it out). So I decided to keep going. Some of my stuff is new and some is old bits and pieces I’ve found but I like them so I put them up!!! Now my poems and stories are more heartfelt and dramatic but, then again, that’s me!!! Note To Readers Some of my poems are in sonnet form but if they don't stick exactly to the meter: don't freak out!!! Nobody's perfect (that's why I love being called a nobody!) and I don't like to sound too forced. Little slip-ups in poems make them interesting, just like in life!
