Author has written 19 stories for General, War, Romance, General, Friendship, Life, Love, Mythology, and Historical. I love to write, plain and simple. My other burning passions include Art, Architecture, Football, and History. I suppose I am one of those romantics who like to defy reality and instead wish to lose themselves in a past that exists only in a single dream that does not do it justice. For one to dream, one must value reality much less, and we all have a dream. But the question we must ask ourselves is not what we decry about our reality, but why would we dream it away? Is the past really much simpler? Or are we spiralling toward a future we would rather not face? For we have wrought the present, and will shape the future. Why then, do we flee to ink and paper? Why, then, do we write about a past, a present, a future that is not ours? When I began writing, I did not know it would wring out my most heated tears, lift my lips into the biggest smiles, or imbue in me the self-respect that one can only receive from giving truth through deception. I do not hope that everyone learns my lessons; I only wish that everyone learns to want to give their own. I'm just a student with a part time retail job that doesn't really pay the bills. And every time I watch Armageddon, I cringe and shudder at all appropriate moments. Every time I listen to my favourite songs, I hear them newly, differently, perfectly. The only thing I can really trust is a pen and paper. They are the only things that can capture my truths, and my lies. That is why I flee, and that is why you are here. Maybe you'll enjoy what I have to say, and maybe you won't. But if it gets you thinking, I've done my job.
