Howdy strangers. The space was looking a little bare, oui? Too bad I never know what to say anyway. Thank you to everybody for all their continuing support, despite my sporadic updates.
For the record, I'm a 20 year old gal from Perth, Western Australia.
All in the Life of a Tomboy is my baby. I'm liking it. Every author is critical about their work, and there are certainly parts of the story that just make me cringe and would get instantly wiped the second I did any revision. But for the most part, the story is progressing the way I wanted it to, and I really enjoy writing it.
Enough of my blathering.
December 31st, 2006: Wow. Thank you so much to whoever nominated me for SKOW, and under "Most Humorous" no less. I do try. I won't win, because of the competition I'm up against, but god who cares I'm stoked already!
February 11th, 2007: Chapter thirteen is UP, much faster than expected. Getting mixed responses, which is great. It is only chapter thirteen, after all, so we can't have everything turning out perfectly just yet, can we?
March 13, 2007: Oh my god. All in the Life of a Tomboy won judge's pick for Most Humorous in the SKOW awards. This is insane. Am currently sitting at my computer in rather dumbfounded happiness.
April 16th: 2007: Alrighty, after some technical difficulties, chapter fourteen is now up and running - enjoy.
May 19th, 2007: Okay people. You're not going to like this. I've got three research papers due in two weeks time (all within one day of each other), plus regular uni study, plus I've got a part time job and a casual job, and exams start in three weeks. So as you can see, I basically spend every waking moment either going to uni, studying, working, eating, or sleeping. I HAVE NO LIFE. Basically, don't expect an update for the next month or so. I'm sorry, but right now I've got too much to focus on.
November 11th, 2007: After an exceptionally long wait, chapter fifteen is finally up. I finished my exams on Wednesday and am officially on summer holidays, so I finished off the final 8 pages. Hope you enjoy it, if you can even remember what's going on in the story...
