Author has written 11 stories for General, Romance, Young Adult, Action, Humor, and Historical.

My name is Anthony. I'm 17 years old and will be attending High Point University this fall.

BACKSTORY TO WRITING IN MY LIFE:

I guess from a young age I've always had a small interest in writing, but it really became a serious thought as a career my sophmore year. During my early years, I would write, illustrate and publish (me stapling it together) my own stories, usually about sheriffs or secret agents.

The summer between my sixth and seventh grade year, I took a two week summer creative writing course at a local community college where I wrote a story about an attack on the US. Because i didnt have much of a mind then, I based the attack in Hawaii, like Pearl Harbor. About two months later, September 11th took place.

I gave up writing for a part, but never lost my love for it. From middle school till halfway through Sophmore year, I wished to become a doctor, which was a joke, because I was strictly a right-brain thinker while the medical field is filled with math and science, which I never excelled in.

My sophmore year, I got my true inspiration to become a writer when my english teacher assigned a creative writing assignment based off of a obituary. This story is posted on here under "An Officer and a Scoundrel". She praised me and I took off from there.

WRITING IN MY LIFE NOW:

I've recently graduated from Wall High School and after a tough decision will be attending High Point University where I will major in English/Literature and Minor in Secondary Education.

I tried out at an arts school, but unfortunatley got wait listed. I've recently signed up however to take classes at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia for Creative Writing.

I take Creative Writing I at my high school which will switch over to Creative Writing II starting the third marking period. We read, write and critique one anothers stories. Every now and then I will post one of the stories.

I wish to someday become a famous, award winning, bestselling author remembered years after my death for novels that have created controversy and angered many.

COMPLETED WORK

AN OFFICER AND A SCOUNDREL: This story I wrote last year for my english class. When I was writing it, i had no idea how my teacher would react to it.To my surprise, she loved it. She constantly praised me and has told me to get more writing classes into my schedule. She came up with the project when she read the obituary for a man who's family owned an island off of Long Island since the 1600s. It was given to them by the King of England. Many things that included events with pirates and indians happened there and she had us make a short story.

BREAKING THE HABIT: This story was written for my creative writing class. I recieved an "A+" for the grade. The topic we had was to create an offensive character and then write a story about him in the mall. So here's the story of James and how he was able to overcome his offensive habit.

Comment from my teacher: "Nice job- realistic dialouge- hey, what's with a positive, heartwarming story from a teenager? Will the wonders ever cease? A+"

Hope everyone will like it as much as my teacher did. Please R&R

WORK IN PROGRESS

FOLLOWED BY SHADOWS: "Followed By Shadows" is a novel that im in the middle of writing. Currently i have nine chapters and am about to go back through and make some major changes. This is currently on hold until i decide how I'm going to change certain things. Hopefully I'll get something for this book up because i really love this story and where it was going.(CURRENTLY ON HOLD)

SEAN & JESSICA: BOOK 1(title may change): "Sean & Jessica" is the story of two teens and how their feelings for each other change over their four years in high school. I'm planning there to be 4 books, 1 for each year in high school to this series. I havent started writing this book yet. Its basically an idea I'm tossing around with. I'll update more to this. (CURRENTLY ON HOLD)

EYE OF THE TIGER: A short story based off a dream with minor changes. Has to do with a young man who meets a homeless man on the way home from a restaurant. He talks for awhile and not knowing the consequences mentions information that causes trouble for him.

MY BLOODY VALENTINE: a short story about a married couple who were married on Valentine's Day. They had been married for 5 years and one day the husband comes home early to discover his wife cheating on him. He decides to take action. PART IV NOW POSTED

UNTITLED NOVEL: this is an idea ive been bouncing around in my head for about a year and a half now. I've started numerous times but either didnt like it, lost it or forgot where i was going with it. It was originally meant to be a short story but I'm actually thinking of making it into a novel and developing the story some more. PROLOUGE B NOW POSTED

Deja Vu: STORY STILL NEEDS DEVELOPMENT

THE WORLD THEY THOUGHT THEY KNEW: co writen with my friend. Plot is being with held.

UPDATES

July 9, 2007

After almost a year, of writing this book (mostly trying to actually sit down and write chapter 2) my co-writer
Mortitia Poeta and I have finally decided to reveal the first six chapters (Part 1 and first of Part II) of The World
They Thought They Knew. Our hope is to finish as much as we possibly can before I leave for college and we have
to start having our writing meetings by webcam. This is the first time we've revealed any of it. No one other than the two
of us has seen it. Be open minded about it. Try to understand the message (or as much that can be determined at this point)
before jumping to harsh comments about either of us being evil. This is a satire for the most part and present day dystopia.

My Co-Writer I believe will be adding this to her profile. If you review mine, please comment hers as well. It's a joint effort.

Also, please be kind on the chapter 2 reviews. We finished writing our first draft, which has been posted, today.
At the moment we are proud that the first is actually finished. Please be kind with the comments, but please do point out what
we need to watch so that we can edit it to the best of our ability. Hopefully a new version of it will be available in two weeks.

Enjoy
