Author has written 9 stories for Young Adult, General, and Romance. Hey everyone. If you've been following my stories, I first of all want to say thank you. I love that people are interested in my work. Secondly, I want to apologize for not updating any of my stories in almost a year. Things became very busy with school, and internships, and I started working on new stories which I am very excited to bring to FP. Unfortunately, I think I am going to finish each story before I post them, so then it won't be ages between updates. If there are any stories you really want me to continue, I can get back to writing them. I sadly abandoned some of the stories for newer ideas. If you'd like to see one continue, simply send me a message saying so. Now, I'm very excited about one of my newer stories. I've taken a lot of time to write it, and I'm about 5-10 chapters away from finishing it. This will be my first short novel, which I will hope to publish one day. It's about an 18-year old boy who runs away from his mother to his birthplace of Belfast, Ireland. There, he embarks on a journey to find his father who was left behind. But that's not all he finds. I hopefully will begin posting chapters from another new story, about a young writer. You can find out more about this one further down on my profile. I'm only about 4 or 5 chapters in on this one. Anyways, I'll leave you to the rest of my profile. Cheers! S. aboutme: Okay, so you want to know about me, eh? Boy, this could take a while. I am a broadcast-journalism college student and living on my own now with a couple of roommates. I am considerably busy now so it's become harder to post stories, but I am still writing. I never stop writing. Whether it be poetry, songs, fiction, choreography or grocery lists, I never stop. I have been writing since kindergarten when I learned that crayons + paper = words. I am unbelievably imaginative and random, so if you find something in my stories that you don't understand, it's probably something my conniving little brain thought up. I am oddly random, and though I appear very normal and mundane to the untrained eye, I am very spunky and offbeat. I am very sarcastic, and I make all of my protagonists have a sarcastic sense of humour (it's more fun to write), and I love to write poetry about inanimate things, and give them life. Other than writing, I LOVE to dance, in every way. I am going back into ballet training this year, so wish me luck. I am also a huge theatre geek (if you ever want to talk for hours about Urinetown, I'm the one to come to - I was in a production of it last year). So, I think we've covered everything... school, hobbies, music (alt/indie rock, classic rock, punk, folk rock, hip hop, trip hop, trancestep, electro pop, etc.), personality, style... I guess that's it. Oh, one last thing, I love to talk just as much as I love to write. 5facts: Polish heritage, Vegetarian, Performer(dance, sing, act), Extreme animal lover, Pro-Life. likes: writing fiction, dancing, all kinds of music, animals, photography, handbags, honesty, sticking up for what is right, originality, video games dislikes: war, negativity, conformists, people who think animals are just there to be eaten, poverty, close-mindedness favequotes: "Dancing is the perpendicular expression of a horizontal desire." - George Bernard Shaw "For every moment of triumph, for every instance of beauty, many souls must be trampled" - Hunter S. Thompson advicetoliveby: when someone tells you that you can't do what you want- prove.them.wrong. storynews: NEW STORY! The Music Plays and the City Lights up with Colour: Suddenly, the music seems louder in my ears, and an aura-like glow illuminates the boy with the guitar. It’s more than music to my ears; it’s a chorus of indie folk-rock angels. I love my Grandpa, but I think his death may have been the greatest thing that ever happened to me. New story in the works and coming soon to FP. Brief summary: Sloane is pissed off at the world, and steals away to his hometown in Ireland to avoid his alcoholic mother. Little does he know that Belfast may just be the key to the father, sister, and romance his life had been devoid of. Also coming to FP in 2009: All Elina wanted to do was finish her novel. When she wrote, it kept the demons at bay. But when her greatest piece gets destroyed, she has nothing on her mind but to get it all back. Enter Owen, a genius who could have all the answers she needs. But could his brilliance uncover everything in life Elina has been hiding? The Blue Stone Cafe: This story is for people who can't stand romance fiction that develops in two chapters and the rest is junk. There is a lot of development that happens in the characters, and you have to work for the final result. The Window: This is a challenge for me, because I want to write and upload this one chapter by chapter, and get plot feedback and suggestions. This story is for you if you want to be a part of the plot-process !Smashmix!: This story is mainly about teenage brutality and identity, and is about a girl who changes her entire life, and has to keep her real life a secret from one person, and her new life a secret from another. Don't Breathe Too Deep: Unfinished angst story about a former coke-addict. Nothing special to this one. Switch: A romance story about a girl who finds out her life is even more screwed up than she thought, and she has to make a decision about who she can trust enough to love. Switch News: Switch has been finished and posted, so if you are interested in reading the improved and completed story, it is now on FictionPress and I hope you enjoy it. randomquestion: Why do people seem to think that a lot of the writers on here are emo? In so many profiles, I see authors confirming that they aren't emo. Does writer and emo just go hand in hand? But hey, if we're into labelling around here, I label myself the trippy hippie. Okay, I am going to change my pen name to that (in spirit, I mean; I don't want anybody getting lost looking for my stories). I'm copyrighting it, leave it alone! Unless there's a person out there who I don't know who took it before me. In which case; I must meet this person. finally, a Beatles lyric (updated regularily): Well the day she went away PeaceLoveGranola | |||||||||
