Author has written 19 stories for Fantasy, Friendship, General, Fantasy, Supernatural, Humor, Life, Fable, and Horror. What I like: International Talk Like a Pirate Day (is an example of people ignoring everything logical and historically accurate, and having fun doing so) The Flying Spaghetti Monster (forget ethics, heretics, and politics, the FSM is just funny, and I appreciate that) Nutella, Rain, Mugs, Coffee What I don't like: Piers Anthony, TV ads for politicians, Favorite Books: The Last Unicorn, The Ethics of Organ Transplantation, Green Eggs and Ham, When Elephants Weep, Tamsin, Pearls Before Swine (the comic written by a mildly-disgruntled lawyer), The Little Prince, Dandelion Wine, The Stranger (not to be confused with Strangers in a Strange Land..seriously this can get super-awkward), The Lorax... Quotes: "You are losing my interest, and that is very dangerous. In a moment I will have forgotten you entirely, and will never be able to remember what I did with you. What I forget not only ceases to exist, but never really existed in the first place." -King Haggard, The Last Unicorn "Finally, a way of combining my love of helping people with my love of hurting people. "~ Homer Simpson- oddly enough, this quote seems to summarize my thoughts on writing, and I wonder if anyone else would agree... .. actually I am quite certain that somewhere, statistically, someone is thinking exactally the same thing, because statistically I am an irrelevancy. Policy on reviews. Sometimes I write reviews. Sometimes they include criticisms. Sometimes I just say "thank you." I know some people say they don’t like reviews that are just complements, and to those people—I am sorry, but sometimes I read a story, and there is something that I like about it and I don’t have the words to say why. Final Note: GRAMMAR doesn't bother me. This is the internet, so I have become accostomed to overlooking many errors. Not to say that I would waste time with gibberish, but if a decent enough effort is make I am not at all offended by the occasional typo, or, overused, comma. I will eventually get around to filling out my favorites list with many of the special stories that have especially impressed me. This is a shout-out to the authors of fictionpress. I read your stories and they brighten my day and make me smile and I am so greatful for your artistic efforts. Yet, I often leave no review. I have occasional saved links to stories in a really long word document, and put little exclaimation marks to express exactly home much I loved their writing, and still don't review. I can't explain or justify this phenomenon. | |||||||
