I like to write. That's the reason I joined FictionPress in the first place. Writing is my self-medication. It's how I express myself. I write about my life. My friends are my characters. Music is my muse. Life is my inspiration.
I am a girl. I thoroughly enjoy a good book, beautiful music, and photography. I tend to hang around in smoke-infested coffeehouses. I have a love affair with the city of Philadelphia. I spend hours every week searching for new music. I am all about breaking stereotypes. The human mind fascinates me endlessly. I am an insomniac and a vegetarian.
As far as favorites go, my favorite books are The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Requiem for a Dream by Hubert Selby, Jr. My favorite colors are black and green and blue. My favorite person is Jenny Lewis. My all-time favorite bands are The Beatles, Rilo Kiley, and The Shins.
