I was born to a queen during a tragic ship wreck in which I was the only one who came out alive. I was then marooned on a deserted tropical island (much like the one on Swiss Family Robinson) which I swiftly dubbed Katland. The natives took me in (natives poofed in from no where when I was about five years old. Before then I was raised by wild horses.) and raised me in their culture. They were amazed by things like fire and soap and decided that I was a goddess. I did not complain because after all it was the island of Katland. The natives called me Kaytala which in their language meant Goddess. When I reached the age of sixteen the natives all disappeared in a puff of blue smoke and only remain as the white horse known as Kaytala who resides in the crevaces of my mind. They also left me another gift know as the golden dragon named Tearith (a pernese dragon no less) who is also a figment of my imagination. I left Katland in search of new citizens for my utopia and arrived randomly in Canada and currently attend college.
Oh yeah, I write a bit, too.

Writing History
I started writing pretty much as soon as plots started forming in my head. I believe I wrote my first story when I was 3 or 4 years old, telling my babysitter what to write. It was about a whale but I don't remember what else it was about haha. Anyway, as you can tell, I've been writing for a long time. I usually write science-fiction/fantasy stories, occasionally I'll deviate from that and end up with something like Code Black. I'm not a big fan of poetry and I honestly don't think I'm very good at it so I usually stick to prose. I've taken a few creative writing classes, but in all honesty, I don't think they really helped me along at all, though most of my writing on Fictionpress is from my last writing class and Literature class. Anyway, I'm an avid reader and have been for at least as long as I've been writing and I came across fanfiction.net when I was looking for Escaflowne fics. I started reading Sapphirefly's work (you should check her out on Fanfiction.net and on here as well. She's phenominal!) and eventually became her beta reader and have been for quite awhile now. She introduced me to Fictionpress.com and since then, I've posted a few stories sporatically. On with the history, I RP most of my characters to develop them before I ever put them in a story. I've been doing that since I was in grade 7 and still do it once in awhile, though I'm not as active in the RP community as I used to be. Three years ago, I started my first ever really big project that I was actually serious about getting published. It's a series called "The Sisterhood of Nyru". I plan to get a few novellas up on here sometime soon or at least a few short stories. Since I started writing it, I'm on my fourth rewrite and still plan on getting it published some day.
That's all I can think of to say at the moment. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! I'm a very open person.
