First off, thank you for bothering to read my profile and possibly my work.
Secondly, my ratings aren't necessarily based on the content of my work, but rather the audience I intend it for. FP's ratings system is stupid, if you ask me.
Thirdly, if you've reviewed my work, thank you. I'll review some of yours when I find the time. It may take awhile, but I'll find it.
1.27.07: I went back and added the dates I wrote most of my poems to the descriptions. If there isn't one, it's because I didn't write down the date when I wrote the poem in my spiral.
If you ended up here, please review something that hasn't gotten any reviews yet. Seeing hits without reviews irks me and makes me wonder what anyone thought of the piece.
So I just checked my email after my posting torrent the other day (it's Nov. 11th as I type this) and I must have a dozen reviews. In two-ish days.
HOLY FREAKING CRAP you guys are awesome. Many, many less-than-threes to you all.
I feel a need to explain my recent "trilogy," if you will, of "Apostasy"/"Dethroned Princess"/"A Path Stained Crimson." "Apostasy" and "Dethroned Princess" are about the same person, while "A Path Stained Crimson" is about someone else entirely. The girl in "Apostasy" basically used an entire string of people and ended up ruining herself in the process. "A Path Stained Crimson" is about a friend of mine that moved away and got into the wrong crowd: drugs, alcohol, all of that. She hasn't actually committed suicide, but at the time I wrote that poem, I hadn't heard anything about her for awhile. I do hold myself at least a little responsible for what she got herself into, since I pretty much blew her off after she moved. I referenced "Path"in "Dethroned Princess" because that girl was basically headed down that direction, but on a slightly different path, if that makes any sense.
Again, thankyouthankyouthankyou for your reviews.
