Everything I write contains some part of me, oftentimes a part that I would never be willing to confront or discuss if asked outright. Whether poetry or prose, fact or fiction, every word reveals me in a way that I could never accomplish with a mere personal description. Read my work; only then will you truly know me. I am what I write; nothing more, nothing less. Alright, I give in. My name is Katelyn Langley, but I usually go by Kei (or just K. when I write). I'm half Japanese, half American, half sane, and one hundred percent artist. At present, I'm a twenty-year-old college student who hopes to someday write for a living - yes, I'm another of those. What you'll see here will mostly be poetry, which will never be very good; I don't consider myself a poet. Prose is my specialty, so you might see some of that, too, but I can't make any promises about genre or content. I will reiterate that everything I write, however outlandish, is written with some sort of feeling, which is why you can find me scattered throughout all of my works if you look hard enough. | |||||
