Xabelle, that's me! Check out my collection if you have the time. :)
In a nutshell, I am a frustrated writer, so I guess I really hope that the readers would be kind enough to review my work. At the moment, I have one (completed) story posted on FictionPress and two amateurish poem (see below).
My fave genre is Fantasy, although I've written lots more that fall under General Fiction. My dream is to put into writing all of the storylines I have in my head, but I guess I'll just have to take it one chapter at a time. I'm inspired by the works of amazing authors like Tolkien, Arthur Golden, Richard Adams (loved Watership Down) and Neil Gaiman. It might not reflect in my work, but I think they rock! I also like books by L.M. Montgomery, Amy Tan, C.S. Lewis and Banana Yoshimoto, but, yeah, they don't inspire me as much. LOL
Excerpts from the Diary of a Dark Lord is not the first story I've ever written, but it is the first parody for me. It's not exactly funny-haha, but I do hope that it's enough to keep readers amused. What can I say? I'm so attached to Morgie. It's very short so it's not a big surprise that this is the first story I've finished (not counting the really short ones I was forced to write back in 4th grade).
Awakening is also not my first attempt at poetry. I wrote it around 4 years ago one morning when I woke up and couldn't move at all. It happens a lot so I'm getting used to it now. Heh. (Newly edited to fix the formatting and punctuation)
Love is a Dance is a poem I wrote while stuck in traffic. Yes, it's that romantic. I have not danced with many partners, I do not know how to dance and I do not know where that poem came from. But it's not like I don't know what I'm talking about... it's just that this poem is more based on observation than experience.
I'm spending loads of time on FF.net now. Haven't written anything, but I'm reviewing like mad over there. :) I haven't given up writing original fiction, though. I've got a couple more up my sleeve. Yeah, it's up there somewhere...
Oh yeah, let's support reviews100 and give our favorite authors the reviews they deserve! :)
