About me: My name's Kelsey, and I'm a brown-haired, brown-eyed seventeen year old girl who loves all of the arts, (reading, writing, singing, drawing, etc), and I also love to travel and go hiking.
I currently live in Indiana, which is pretty...gross. I would like to live in Chicago or Seattle and I plan on studying to be either a physician's assistant or a registered nurse. Or an environmental scientist or a wildlife biologist. Or a teacher. Heck, maybe I'll go into business management and eventually open up a cafe. Truthfully, I have no idea what I'm going to be, but my interests are in all the above topics. I currently work at a Starbucks, and though I LOVE my job...I hardly make enough to financially support myself in the future.
My penname comes from the song Killer Queen by Queen (I know, redundant much?)...wherein they mentioned Mary Antoinette. So there you go--M. A. Queen.
I love to read J. K. Rowling (Harry Potter), Stephenie Meyer (Twilight), as well as George Orwell's 1984. I love books with action, conflict and lots of romance. What can I say--I'm a sap. :) Movie-wise, I happen to love good horror flicks (The Descent, Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later), and action/super-hero/spy movies (Spiderman, X-men, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kill Bill, Borne Identity...). Finally, I like to listen to rock, classic rock and alternative music. The Eagles, Avenged Sevenfold, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Keane, Muse and AC/DC, mostly.
