Name: You can refer to me as Heloise. It's not my real name but it'll do.
Age: Somewhere between 8 and 84.
Gender: Well I think this one’s pretty easy to figure out. I’m female. =)
Likes: I love playing tennis. It’s one of my passions and I love watching it – Wimbledon, the French Open, everything. I have favorite players, including a favorite Williams sister. That would be Venus, by the way. Not that I don’t like Serena. And you got to love Roger Federer. And Marat Safin.
I also like writing and I want to be a journalist some day – that or open up my own ice cream shop.
I’m also a big movie buff. I watch all kinds of movies – comedy, horror, romance, and action/adventure. I’m a big Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, and James Dean fan. But I like movies like SuperBad and Legally Blonde.
Politics is also one of big passions. I love debating and I have keep track of what’s happening on the news. That’s why I’m a big Barack Obama supporter.
And music. My favorite artists are Metro Station, Boys Like Girls, Gym Class Heroes, Coldplay, Katy Perry, and Dashboard Confessional.
Dislikes: I dislike…racism. I dislike when bad things happen to good people. I dislike that celebrities get paid X amount of money for doing absolutely nothing. This is directed toward the hotel heiresses and MTV reality stars of our generation. Ick. And…I dislike those trying-to-act-older-than-they-actually-are-preteens – especially when they’re raving about either (a) Hannah Montana, (b) High School Musical 1,2,3,4…etc, and (c) The Jonas Brothers.
Current Projects:
(UPDATED June 25) Bleeding Lexington: This is a story about a girl named Madeleine Harper who’s sent off to boarding school and has to deal with vampires, werewolves, and other mythical creatures that go there.
(UPDATED June 21) Glass Pumpkin: A modern-day fairy tale (literally). It’s about an aspiring fairy godmother, her roommate The Mad Hatter, his serial wolf killer ex-girlfriend Little Red Riding Hood, a “despondent” teenage girl named Wilhelmina Wednesday Walker, her best friends Vanessa and Charlotte, Charlotte’s brother Derek Vanderbilt, and a whole mess of fairy tale creatures and magical mayhem.
Prospective Projects:
(Romance/Drama/Humor) Fool’s Gold: She’s not the stereotypical gold digger. She’s loveable, adorable, and incredibly kind – not to mention happily promiscuous. He’s the rich brat out to stop her from marrying into the family – if only he wasn’t so damn sick all the time. Where’s the live-in nurse with the asthma inhaler?
“Oh my goodness! Are you alright?” she raced towards him, her high heels click-clacking on the marble floor. It took her longer than she intended, partly because of the knee-length dress she was wearing. She knew shouldn’t have bought it so tight.
When she made her way to the other side of the foyer, she peered down at him. Her forehead wrinkled in concern.
Nathan groaned. Here he was lying on the floor, all because he was too stubborn to take his cane with him. He’d told himself men at his age didn’t use canes – he was 21 years old for Christ’s sake not 91. But now he really needed it. And he could definitely do without the gold digging wench acting like she was concerned in that incredibly high voice of hers.
(Romance/Humor) Comic Book Wars: He’s the local superhero. I’m the damsel-in-distress. Except I’m not in danger. He just happened to fly through my bedroom window…uninvited.
“Get the hell out of my room you freakin’ loon!”
“That’s the thanks I get for saving your life?”
“By breaking my window? I am so suing your ass.”
“Wow. You’re a pretty ungrateful bitch aren’t you?”
“And you’re a pretentious bastard.”
“Pretentious? I’m on the front cover of the newspaper almost every day. I’m entitled to a little boot licking every now and then.”
“Sorry to disappoint. Now…Get. Out!!”
