Author has written 6 stories for Romance, General, and Love. So hi, I'm Chelsea. I'm your typical college student with an imaginary side-job as a writer here on FP. I've been writing short stories since I was in the fourth grade, and (I think, hopefully?) have gotten a bit better as the years have gone on. I'm really a cynic at heart, quite sarcastic, in fact, but I enjoy writing an oddball romance most of the time. It's the usual consequence to falling in love with dead rock stars and I've come to terms with it. Other relevant if slightly unnecessary information: I LOVE THE RED WINGS. My first word as a child was hockey, my parents were both born in the D, and here I am, flying the red and white no matter where I find myself. GO WINGS! My biggest passion in the world (sports fanaticism aside) is censorship and free speech. From music to films to literature, I want it all available to everyone with the filter being your regular non-governmental guardian or parent. Uncle Sam is great, just don't tell me what to read. The Beatles pick me up when I'm feeling down. They also pick me up when I'm feeling fine, but more often than not it's a soggy mood I catch them drying off with three-part harmonies and those wacky bass licks. "Fool Moon Rising" is, in all likelihood, dead. Sorry if I led you on. "Jonas and the Wail" is my obligatory one-shot dystopian future story. Remember when I said I hate censorship? Voila. Story-time. "Punished" is finished and I'm pretty happy about it. GO READ IT. "Protected" is my recently finished Russian/Scottish mafia romance. That...sounds hilarious. I've taken it down for some hardcore editing, hopefully going to get it published. If that happens, look here and I'll post info on where you can get it. My newest story, "Bawdy Elf Stirrers: Strawberry Fields" is an anagram-fueled tale of a really crazy year abroad. Okay, go away. P.S. I love reviews. So, you know...get to it. UPDATE: I've posted the last ten or eleven chapters of "Protected" on my near useless blog, just for you few who were jinxed with not quite finishing the thing when I unceremoniously yanked it from FP.com. Email me and I'll give you the think. It starts around Chapter 25 and goes to the end. | |||||||||||
