EDIT 5/24/07: I've gone back and overhauled Breakaways, since there were a lot of things I didn't like about my original version. The more I started to work on other stories with Andy and Cale, and the more I got to know the boys, the more the story changed. I'd really appreciate any commentary on it, especially from those few of you who may have read it before. And I promise I'll try to get some new stuff up soon. :)
Me (only slightly different since the last time you looked)
I'm a junior in college, majoring in Classical Lang & Lit with a Psych minor. And, before you ask, no, I don't know what I'm doing with it. I like to write in my spare time (when my muses feel like cooperating) but I don't have a lot of experience outside of class essays, so bear with me.
Breakaways started out as a sort of side story to a longer fic I planned to write with the same characters- Beautiful Game. I'm starting to think the whole Beautiful Game universe is going to compose itself in a lot of shorter stories that I might be able to weave together into a longer piece. Right now, it's coming in slightly disconnected chunks. I've got like half of Andy and Cale's story outlined, but they boys keep deciding to change things when I'm not looking. I've also got something in the works with Jeremey, one of the side characters in Breakaways, but he's being difficult, too. -sigh-
I make tenative promises (very tenative) to update, but school and soccer tend to consume my life during the fall. But! I will work when I can, assuming there are at least a few of you out there who want more of this stuff. Here's hoping.
