Hey, all you writers out there! How's it going? I've only got a
couple
of stories up right now, but I promise that more are on the way. "Felt
With the Heart" is actually an idea that sprung from a very strange
dream I had. Odd how we get some of our ideas, huh? "Yami no Tenshi" is
a manga story I'm working on. So far I've got four different sagas
planned out, so this one's gonna be long. I also recently added "Quoth
the Raven," a mystery series I'm working on. Actually, it's about
the fifth or sixth time I've tried to write the darn thing...Anyway,
for those of you who
care, here's my bio:
Real name: Not tellin'...:P
Age: 20
Hobbies: Writing, drawing, anime, music, studying Japanese, other
things I can't think of right now...
Pets: Nine cats plus two kittens we recently took in. We've got a full
house!
Upcoming
stories: About five or so; I just haven't titled them yet... I'm
working on a sequal to "Felt With the Heart" as well as a couple of
other romances and the first installment of a fantasy trilogy.
I'm also tweaking the plot to a story set in Japan just after the Meiji
Restoration.
Current stories:
Title: Felt With the Heart
Genre: Romance
Current Status: 33 chapters posted; COMPLETE
Summary: Previously titled, "I Learned How to Love from You." Basically
the same thing I had before, just a new title. Anyway, Moníka Pepin
lives a quiet life in Windsor, Colorado--until she runs into a British
guy who changes her life.
Title: Yami no Tenshi
Genre: Manga
Current Status: Seven chapters posted; in progress
Summary: I kind of imagine this in my head anime-style when I write it,
so the chapters are going to be like episodes. So they'll be quite
long! Anyway, after his clan is slaughtered, Motoshi stumbles into the
human world. While in Tokyo, he bumps into Kameko and quickly learns
that her destiny is tied to his. Though reluctant, he takes her back
with him to the demon realm and they set out on all kinds of
adventures.
Title: Quoth the Raven
Genre: Mystery
Current Status: One chapter posted; in progress
Summary: Hideo Seaver is part of a group
assigned to the creation of the C.D., the world's first time
machine. But when that technology is stolen and history is
changed, he has to travel to 1660s London with FBI Agent Jessie Pierce
to figure out what went wrong. First installment of the Time
Detectives mystery series. (I wanted to have Historical as a sub-genre, but the brainiacs here didn't make such
a thing lol)
I'm working on some pictures of my "Yami no Tenshi" characters (more to
come as I get them done):
Motoshi (Yes, I realize I forgot to draw the sword, the sash, and the pendant,
but I've got an excuse for that. This is an early drawing I had put
together while I was still brainstorming the series, and I didn't feel
like changing it. Not only that, but only in my wildest dreams could I
ever hope to be able to draw the pendant's design. I'll probably
attempt it someday, but I can't guarantee anything good.)
Kayu
(Also a relatively early drawing, but she hasn't changed much)
Kameko
(this is a picture of what she looks like starting in chapter four. I
probably should have waited to put this up, but whatever...the next one
I put up will be one of her when she was a normal human.)
Kameko & Sakae
(Kameko's actually supposed to be the taller one, but I kinda forgot
that fact when I drew it...heheh...anyhoo, this is what the girls look
like in their school uniforms)
Tosuke
(i like this one much better than the one i had before. around
the time chapter 12 or 13 comes up, i'll add a couple more of him
here. you'll see why later)
Renjiro (i
know, his beard looks goofy. feel free to laugh if you want. i am. lol :D)
Yuji (the blue haired stranger that showes up at the end of chapter 7.)
Heiki (i take absolutely NO credit for this picture. i tried, but i
discovered that i can't draw foxes to save my life. lol so
i borrowed someone else's that i found on photobucket. credit goes to the
original creator)
Katsutoshi (in case you haven't figured it out, i absolutely despise trying
to draw bats. so this time i looked for a couple on the
internet. credit here goes to its orignial owner. take off
the orange color of his wings, and this is pretty much what tosuke's
brother looks like)
Heru
(again, this is me being lazy...lol...this is another picture i found
on photobucket. heru doesn't look like this exactly, obviously,
but you can use your imaginations to make a few changes, right?
lol)
I
noticed a few other people doing this, so I figured, why not? These are
some random photos I found on the internet of what I think
the characters of "Felt With the Heart" look like. (btw, I claim
absolutely NO ownership over these pics. they're just random ones
I found.)
Moníka Pepin The lead character (pronounced mo-NEE-ka). Most of the story is told from her
point of view. I think the only thing about this photo that
doesn't match my character is her eye color Moníka's are supposed to
be green, but other than that...
Jeremy Pepin Moníka's older brother. This is his rugged drummer look in the first half of the story.
Phoebe Haden Jeremy's girlfriend. Believe it or not, this is exactly what I imagined when I created her.
Sarina Barrett Phoebe's roomate at the beginning of the book. She's the short and fiesty one of the group. :)
Dmitri Maksim Jeremy's best friend and Sarina's boyfriend. The Russian dude.
Parker Maxwell You'll have to use your imagination and slap a goatee on this guy, but
aside from that, this is exactly what the Brit looks like.
Garrett Frederickson The Mississippi cowboy. I wish I could of gotten this one in color, though...
Daevon Flynn This guy needs to be a few years older, but this is exactly what Daevon looks like otherwise.
Reina Pepin Moníka's daughter. This pic even had her appearance down to the eye color.
Willow Pepin Moníka and Jeremy's mother.
John Pepin Just for the heck of it, I looked up a picture of what their father
would have looked like before his accident, too.
Nino Lucciani Daevon's boss at the FBI and one of his closest friends. (Ignore
all the white. The face is what I was after for this one.)
Joey Hammerton One of Daevon's buddies from the FBI. I know he doesn't show up much, but I put a pic up anyway.
Gina McCauley The tomboy of the FBI. Yes, I know this is Kiera Knightley, but
this picture was just too damn close to pass up. I also have a
picture of what Gina would look like after Moníka gives her a makeover
of sorts later in the story here.
Jason Flynn Daevon's younger brother. Just imagine this guy being a few years younger...
Kileigh Daevon's ex from D.C. Before anyone asks, yes, this is Parker
Posey. I used her as a model for Kileigh's appeareance, so I
figured it would only be appropriate to use one of her pics for this.
There
aren't quite as many pics for my "Quoth the Raven" characters.
Throughout the series, Jessie and Hideo are pretty much the only ones
who show up on a regular basis cuz the other characters change with the
time setting. Wesley Seaver and Ray are just secondary characters
that'll be at the beginning and end of the stories and that's about
it. lol... Anyway...
Hideo Seaver To avoid confusion, I suppose I should point out the guy's half
Japanese, half American. Obsessed fans of the anime "Prince of
Tennis" may recognize who this is.
Jessamine Pierce "Jessie" for short. Readers will find out later that she can't
stand her real first name. Apparently this actress is from a show
called "Angela's Eyes," but I've never seen or heard of such a series,
so...whatever.
Wesley Seaver Hideo's dad and CEO of the Seaver Technological Corperation.
Ray Jessie's partner of sorts at the FBI. I found out later that this particular picture really is of a retired FBI agent. How ironic is that?
Anyway, thanks in advance to all of you who take the time to read and
review my stories. Hope you enjoy them, and let me know how bad my
writing is, okay? I've also put up a C2 called "Utopia for the Hopeless
Romantic," so be sure to check that out as well. There are quite a few
good stories there.
