Well I guess we should start with the basics?
My names Darcyand im coming up 15 years of ages.. well in two months anyways. I enjoy writing because its one of the only time you can express your true opinions and just let your feelings flow through the words. I've always liked writing since i was very young, but i never used to finish my stories because i'd want to write massive long chapters and have stories like those in the bookshops with nearly 100 chapters and countless words. But then when i reached year 7 i found that i liked writing poetry and i wasnt too bad at short cliff hanger stories, so thats what i began doing. My first finished story i was so proud of but now im thinking of deleting it- the one at the bottom "A river of tears" what do you think i should do, keep or delete? I might keep it so i can show how im progressing. My first poems aren't too good either but in year 8 i was constantly writing and now im proud of them, my favourite is "mindless" : and i wrote my first sonnet that i was quite proud of and over this last year i have taken a liking to sonnets and been writing them rather alot :
During year 9 the year i have recently finished i experianced my first love and that influenced many poems and my short "story" entitled "love" which is one of my favourite pieces of work. However, a few months ago i experianced my first true heartbreak and alot of the stuff i've been writing has been "unhappy" again, i guess my work mirrors my life at that particular moment in time -)
The story "runaway" was part of my ks3 SATs preparation and meant to be one-shot but i've had a lot of readers and friends ask me to carry on and add another part to it. So thats exactly what im trying to do, im struggling however and i would love for some suggestions on the storyline? I would also love any suggestions for a new story that i could write, as im struggling.
Im posting a new story called "A never-ending dream" that i also wrote for school, but i do have to give part of the credit to Hannah Vasey, a girl in my year and a close friend as i wouldnt have been able to write it without her input.
So yeah.. any suggestions email me groovygal308@hotmail.com
xoxo - i'd love to help anyone who needed it : im quite a friendly person.. dont hesitate to ask for my opinion or anything :
