Author has written 17 stories for Romance, Essay, Love, Spiritual, Humor, and General.

news.

14 oct: A rewrite of They Call it a Cliche is up on Plagiarism Haven. It's still in the works and definitely does not read like the original version (and is a better one, hopefully!). Yay! If you're looking to read/reread the original, you're out of luck. It will never again see the light of day outside my portable USB drive.

Some news: A new FP writer will be joining our ranks soon, and check out The Write Away - a sister site to PH for FP writers who desire a secure place to post their writing on.

Thank you so much for your unending support! No words can express our gratitude and awe. :)

: Gosh, it's been a while!

Just wanted to pop by and say that Plagiarism Haven's swingin' along really, really well! Everyone's been awesome about it, both authors and readers alike, and I for one am honoured to be a part of it! You guys have been such sports and we'd just like to thank you all. :)

If you aren't sure what PH is, look no further. Here's the scoop. Several FictionPress authors, including myself, have been plagiarised to the point that we've had to remove all (or most) of our stories from FP. It wasn't an easy decision, but knowing that the work you've spent hours perfecting and toiling over has been ripped off by someone and passed off as their own - it's not an experience we'd recommend to anyone. I've gotten to know so many wonderful readers from writing here, and I'll never, ever regret having joined this community. It's an awesome one. But not when perfect strangers, readers you thought you could trust, desecrate your work that way. That's unacceptable. -shakes head-

So what's next? Well, it doesn't mean that you'll never be able to read our works ever again.

Myrika, SamanthaNicole and I have come up with a LiveJournal community where FP authors who have been plagiarised can band together to post stories on. It will be heavily moderated, and only people who have a LiveJournal account and who fill out this form and send it in will be allowed in. Creating an LJ account is free and easy. We welcome all who'd like to continue following us off FP! :)

Authors currently posting in PH are: myself, SamanthaNicole, Myrika, JD Allen, Kendal, simonexsays, and Em Wolf.

We'd love to hear from you guys! So feel free to pop over and try your hand at joining it. I've been reposting some old one-shots in it (Rain or Shine, a heavily edited version of A Little Bit Surprised, and Stories of a Family), and everyone else has been, too. They Call it a Cliche might also end up there eventually. It all depends on how much time I get to give it a rework. As for the sequel (They Call it an Accident), yes, it will definitely be posted there as well.

If you have any other questions, feel free to email or PM me. ;)

xoxo,
louisa
