-- 'About Me's --

(Re-written 13th May 2008! Say booyah!)

Hmm, so I'm not quite sure what to say here again. I don't know. I'm definitely not effective nor angelic, which is ironic, I know, so I guess I'll just say whatever comes to mind. Muahahaa!

I put my name at the end of every single chapter I write, but just for kicks, it's Louisa. :) I'm fully, one hundred percent Chinese. Most people I know say I look like I have mixed blood, but alas, I dashed their hopes with a single sentence. -grins- I live in South-East Asia, but if you wanna know exactly where, Facebook's a good start! (Linky below.) I'm 16 years old, not 36. Gasp. I was also born at the very end of the year, which makes me younger than most of the '91 people I know.

I love a good novel I can sink my teeth in -especially anything by Robert W. Walker or Michael Crichton-, any sort of Italian food -I'm obsessed with chicken/beef bolognese-, any sort of good Chinese food, and lots more other things. Hands off Edward Cullen/Jared Howe, for he is mine! Hoho. I'm a science nerd, surprisingly, and an English one too, which once again proves my weirdness. I'm deeply devoted to good TV shows which feature forensics/medicine, so much so that my friend has gotten used to my screaming over Bones. Humour is the way I live my life, but as another friend has noted, I tend to show evil characteristics at times. Singing Sesame Street and imitating the Count is my favourite pastime. :D I'm also a big fan of National Geographic, Reader's Digest, BBC, Liverpool Football Club, Jeff Dunham, the Bentley Bros on Youtube, Darren Hayes, Within Temptation, Apocalyptica, Muse, Chevelle, Switchfoot, green apple/orange/blackcurrant flavoured candy, and so many other things. My music taste ranges from rock to alternative to alternative rock to symphonic/orchestral metal to indie to pop. If you have last.fm and want to add me as a friend or you just want to check out what I listen to, clickie! (:

I absolutely hate root beer -the stuff gets me every time- and plain old beer. White grape wine is the best, in my opinion. I have a love/hate relationship with the rain because when it rains, it's not hot, but my ceiling starts leaking too. -dour look- Cocky guys turn me off somewhat, as well as guys who let their hair grow to a shocking length. I dislike coffee but adore Starbucks's hot chocolate -and cheesecake!-. Reality TV shows don't really interest me, unless it's A Simple Life and I can laugh at Paris Hilton making a fool of herself. I hate long car rides and landing in the plane because my motion sickness gets triggered. I dislike heels as well, just because they make me even taller than I already am. Static feedback from loudspeakers makes me wince and overly preppy DJs make me feel rather uncomfortable. But there is one thing I absolutely cannot stand: the fact that they cut so much in the Harry Potter films. It's just not done!

Also, these days, I've taken to writing at the local airport. Most people here like to go to the airport to hang out -which isn't that weird if you've been there before-, and there's free wireless and stalking of people. Gasp. So if you ever come to where I live, you might see me hanging around somewhere. -grins again-

Feel free to add me on MSN, AIM, Bebo, Facebook, Friendster, Livejournal (the link is at my homepage) or MySpace! (Heads up: I use Facebook the most among the four networking sites.) It's always nice meeting new people, especially readers! (: However, half the time I'm online, I'm not there. I switch my laptop on whenever I'm home and I use it in school too. If I don't respond to IMs, that's the reason why. I have my music player on most of the time too so it doesn't mean that because the little music sign in my personal message is switched on, I'm there. Ahh, the wonders of IM programmes!

Did you finish reading this? I swear, you are good. :)
