About me : Interview Style

Q: Why the pen name?

A: Well, I decided if I'm going to eventually be an authoress, I better choose a pen name and get cozy with it. If that makes any sense. Also I'm tired of everything else I have used, it's about time I got a name that I can stick with.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Besides writing? Definitely listening to music, if not singing along. Music inspires me tremendously while I write. I also like to play around with Adobe Photoshop if the urge strikes me. I draw occasionally, but I end up throwing it out because it doesn't come out to my satisfaction. I also read

Q: What are some of the topics or genres you write typically?

A: Usually fantasy. I do have the occasionally sprinkling of sci-fi. I definitely have romance going on in my stories, I am a hopeless romantic after all. However, I do have a handful of stories that are out of the realm that I normally write. Under the Cherry Tree being one of them.

Q: What inspires you?

A: Music is my first. But I get inspired by random things, it could be while I'm walking down the street, watching a movie or driving in the car. I just get on a train of thought and I get an idea and think: that would be a cool story to write!

Q: Do you base your characters on real people or not?

A: No. Only one of my characters I have ever written are based off anyone, and they're more like what I envision as their alter ego.

Q: What do you do when you have a writer's block?

A: Well, I had a writer's block for about two years. I just got over it, to be honest, I haven't the faintest clue how to cure it. To be honest, I made myself start writing again. I got tired of my stories just sitting on my computer. I know forcing myself affects the quality of my writing, but I know if I can at least get it out, then I can go back later when I finished it and polish it up.

Stories

Under the Cherry Tree: It's a very dramatic story about a homeless girl and a thief who fall in love. The story is experimental and not at all what I usually write. (IN PROGRESS)

A Demon's Bride: A classical cliche with a twist. I'm going to write this while I wait for chapters for Under the Cherry Tree to be edited. (IN PROGRESS)
