About the Authoress

Cherise is a 14-year-old girl living in the U.S. with an interest for English literature. Although she loves reading novels, short stories, essays, editorials, and nonfiction, her main interest lies within poetry. Some of her all-time favorite authors include: Robert Frost, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Emily Dickinson, Jane Austen, Philip Pullman, and J.K. Rowling.

During her spare time, Cherise plays the piano, violin, and is practicing hard for her high school's tennis tryouts in the fall. Sharing some of her pieces on FictionPress.Com is Cherise's first step into publicity.

Future Projects

I'm planning to post a lot of my poems that I wrote, most of them pretty recently with the oldest ones written in December of 2005. More collections of poetry, and fiction soon to come!
