Elliot Ryder is a young High School freshman at Bates High. His parents aren't around much since they're always away on business and Elliot is usually home alone with his cat Kyo-Kyo. One day Elliot gets hit by a car, the glass from the windsheild piercing his heart. But he's not dead...He thinks its just a miracle until he gets shot. He realizes he can't die. But how? Then he meets Death, a young teenager (or so it seems) who has a lot of energy and is very hyper. Elliot realizes that he can't die because Death wants to be his friend...
