Dear readers, The inevitable has happened. I’ve removed all of my stories from FP. If you’ve been with me for a long time you might remember I used to update religiously on a weekly basis (sometimes more frequently), but lately my updates have waned, and it’s not only because I’ve been busy with school. Here are the reasons: First, some alarming situations are going on around FP. While I thankfully haven’t been victim of plagiarism again, I can no longer sit and watch as my work, my brainchildren, can be exploited. I’m a territorial person; they’re mine and only mine. Every day my anxiety grows, not knowing if they’re still solely mine. Well, not anymore. Second, and more important. It wouldn’t be wrong to say I’ve outgrown FP, but the truth is that I as a person have changed, and FP hasn’t changed along with me. It can no longer provide me with what I want and need to grow as a writer. For the sake of my lovely and loyal readers, I’d been trying to postpone this decision for months (yes, I’ve been thinking about it for a long time, about a year), but in the past few weeks I’ve become more and more convinced that this is the right move for me. I realize this is incredibly selfish and mean to the readers who have been patiently waiting for Keeping Erik and Milky Way updates, and to you all, I sincerely apologize. I never intended to let you guys hanging. I hope that you can understand my position (and not be too mad at me?) Currently I’m at a point where I’m deciding what to do next, whether to continue posting on The Write Away or something else. One thing is for sure: I’ll keep on writing until the end of my lifetime. :) Thank you all for your support and constructive criticism. You’re all a big, big influence on who I am as a writer today and I will forever cherish you all. Although there have been ups and downs in my FP stay, you guys have definitely been the up.
