Beat Of My Heart (Possible title, not sure yet:) A drummer in a infamous band in town and a struggling writer working at a coffee shop. Different as night and day. He liked rock. She liked celtic. He liked loud. She liked quiet. He loved suspense movies. She liked black and white romantic comedies. He hand his parents. She had her grandpa. He had one sibling. She had three. He preffered cats, where as she liked dogs. He liked volumptous blondes, but she was a tempermental 'twit'. She was into the tall, dark, handsome, mystery men but he was a blonde, curly haired joker. Keeping common friends, they met at a party but they didn't get along. Their first conversation turned into a heated arguement. Then a second meeting occurs, and he saves her. A third meeting, then finally, a date.
(Don't have a title yet, but sorta of a side story to the CIA story.:) Living a double life, college student missed most of her college days out in the wilderness as an archaelogist. She had her degree already at the age of seventeen but still attended college to learn more about the cultures. Facing many dangers on her 'trips', she lives by the name of Indy, taken from her hero, Indianna Jones. She being faced with danger so often, is an expert in many levels such as languages of certain diallects, weapons, and knowledge of the other worlds.
Now, owing a favor to the man who is paying for her next excavation, she must take his nephew on this trip. Thinking it is a simple tasking, figuring there is no danger, she grumbles an ok. Even if she is independent as hell, she figures there is no harm. But things go askew when there are attempts on their lives as they search for the item in question. Usually, she's quite acomomplished with figuring a way out, but having another body to take care of makes things complicated.
(Sister of Tania, btw. It'll explain more in the story)
Anti-Romance Clause (A sequal/side story to Adopted Mafia): Riley, a friend of the mafia, has had several attempts on her life. The don, favoriting her highly, hires one of his men, Thorne Radcliffe, to work as her bodyguard. Riley having no other choice but to take him, makes him sign that the anti-romance clause, a clause that promises that he won't get romantically involved with her. The don questions this, but soon realizes, she still holds a flame for her old lover, Damian, who died under wary circumstances.
Riley's life is in danger but no one is sure why. Sure, she is a friend of the mob but the Don knows it's something more than that. Only she isn't telling anyone the reason, and she isn't giving a hint. Not only does Thorne have his work cut out for him guarding a tempermental, untamable beauty, he has to figure out what she is hiding and report it to the Don, all the while, trying to not fall in love with the vixen.
