Hey now, put your lights on...
A little about myself...
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Location: Wisconsin
Education: Currently in college
Favorite Activities: Sports (coaching and playing), hangin with friends, writing, photography, playing bass guitar, being a cowboy (sorta haha)
Favorite Music: All types except most rap and R&B, though I prefer alternative, country, and classic rock
About my writings:
I never really did any writing until earlier this year (2006). English was never my favorite subject. But I found writing to be a great outlet for how I feel. All my writings are based off my own emotions (yes, even us guys have them) and how I felt at the time. I don't have a lot of variety in styles of poetry but I go with what works best for me, which for the most part, is rhyming.
If you enjoy my works (or don't for that matter), let me know! Reviews, e-mail, or IMing (AIM = EventHorizon2032) are great ways to get in touch.
Anyway read on and please review. I'll always try to come back and review you back. Thanks for stoppin' by!
"Don't tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don't tell them where they know the fish."
- Mark Twain
"The most important things are the hardest things to say. They are the things you get ashamed of because words diminish your feelings - words shrink things that seem timeless when they are in your head to no more than living size when they are brought out."
- Stephen King
"Don't use words too big for the subject. Don't say 'infinitely' when you mean 'very'; otherwise you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite."
- C.S. Lewis
Didn't your mama tell ya, 'bout boys like me? We'll walk you in the moonlight, we'll ask about your dreams. We'll even carve your name in an old willow tree. Didn't your mama tell ya, 'bout boys like me?
- Montgomery Gentry - Didn't Your Mama Tell Ya
