Author has written 3 stories for Essay, Religion, and Fantasy. Name~ Pia Age~ 19 Well there's not much to say...and I refuse to bore you with such trivial things as my favorite color etc. My first ever love was reading, and because of this affliction, I don't think I'll ever get married. I just can't share...:D People scare me. Which is pretty much why I live in books. My family thinks I'll end up like Virginia Woolf...and all I can say is I hope I never reach that level of genius if that's what it does to you. I'm currently in University studying Applied Science and there are days where I feel like I've been possessed and some random is walking around in my shell and I wonder if I'm really living at all. I suppose that's really crazy and abnormal. On another note...I am a reader and reviewer foremost. However, I do have an original story that has been banging around my head awhile and at present I have managed to squeeze two chapters from my reluctant Muse. Unlike a few people I know (who can write various stories simultaneously and effortlessly) I have to pull words out kicking and screaming and rarely does inspiration find me. Quotes I ponder... We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none: for salvation, but it is far off from us. ~Isaiah (ch. LIX, v. 11) "We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered." ~T. Stoppard "Man is born to trouble, as the sparks fly upward." ~Job V.7 "The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day." ~Proverbs (ch. IV, v.18) "I think the truly natural things are dreams, which nature can't touch with decay." ~Bob Dylan "Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crime." ~Ernest Hemingway "We are all brothers under the skin, and I, for one, would be willing to skin humanity to prove it." ~Ayn Rand "Wild animals never kill for sport. Man is the only one to whom the torture and death of his fellow creatures is amusing in itself." ~James Froud "Remember that all through history, there have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they seem invincible. But in the end, they always fall. Always." ~Mahatma Ghandi "Other things may change us, but we start and end with family." ~Anthony Brandt "The axe forgets, the tree remembers." ~Unknown | |||||||||
