Hey, I'm CL Gingerich
Why I Write: The world of literature is a vast and exciting one for me. I love to write stories. I mostly write poetry because it is quicker and easier, but I do attempt to complete my fictional stories, even if it will take the rest of my life. My poetry, in my opinion, is kind of shabby, but it is mine. Over this past year, my poetry has taken on a new direction. I've finally found a fulfilling purpose for my writing: to honor the One who laid His innocent and perfect life down to save me from the mire. A lot of my poems are my letters of praise and of sorrow to my Savior. The most influential authors who have inspired me to write are JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Ted Dekker, Francine Rivers, and Alexandre Dumas. Historical and fantasy fiction often catches my attention.
About Me: I am a Senior at my small little high school in Nowhereville and will be graduating in May! In the fall, I will be attending college. For so many years, I've dreamed about this unreachable idea called Adulthood. Now it's finally within my grasp, and I've come to realize that maybe I've been a little too hasty to grow up... But I'm glad for this new and exciting transition in my life. It'll be an adventure! And by the way, I love chocolate, music, and of course, the Internet. But I would not classify myself as a dweeb. I am more of a closet geek.
Note: I hope you will enjoy my fiction. It is there for your enjoyment. So sit back and relax. God bless!
