Author has written 3 stories for Romance.

I just hate it when authors leave their profiles blank. Even if all you want to do is blurb about yourself, go ahead! It makes everything seem less lonely and gives people a better image of you. Personally, I really appreciate having a visual image of someone I've heard about or whose stories/poems I'm reading. So, to indulge myself:

Name: Grace

Age: 15

Interests: cello-playing, writing&drawing&reading, watching The Colbert Report/The Daily Show, procrastinating, cat-bothering (we have three incredibly furry adorable black cats!), daydreaming

Basic Overview: 5'5'', slim, medium length brown hair/eyes, fairly good posture (important!)

Family: sister, 18; sister, 21; brother, 24; brother, 27; sister-in-law, 28; father, 61; deceased mother;

OTPs (One True Pairing--I know, I know, I have more than one, but they're in different genres!): Vimes/Vetinari (Discworld), Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert (RPS, but they play such characters it barely counts as that), Y/Z (for Luisa's sake), Booth/Brennan (thank you, Bones, for showing me that het relationships can still be interesting), Batman/Joker ("He'll never love you, sweetheart! You can keep screwing with his city, but he's never gonna take you to the prom!" --quote from a comic book series where the Joker is BLATANTLY CANONICALLY in love with Batman, as opposed to the more subtle canonical love in the recent movies.) , Kvothe/Bast (The Name of the Wind-- sorry, Denna, these two were simply made for each other. Your author actively searches for slash fiction for them! It's hopeless, Denna, give it up.)

Yes, I am a slasher. But don't worry, I'm not rabid!

Woes: the terrible circulation in my extremities; my father; the unexplainable hives I get sometimes; humanity; how much I procrastinate;

Things that make me happy: slashing people (as in, romantically pairing people of the same sex...I'm not actually a serial killer.) ; how long the sun stays up in summer; the nostalgic smell of autumn; my annual Rennaissance Festival (I am a geek); sweet tea; doing all the above "interests" (except procrastinating, which sucks in the end); hanging out with my siblings/friends (aw); singing (haha, is that what I've started calling it?); Colbert; peppermint; listening to Apocalyptica

Top Five Authors: Terry Pratchett, Ursula K. Leguin, Lloyd Alexander, Connie Willis, Garth Nix (and if PATRICK ROTHFUSS finishes his AMAZING NEW FANTASY TRILOGY with the same amount of quality the first one, The Name of the Wind, has, then I'll have to have six favorites.)

Top Five Fandoms: Colbert, Stewart and Co.; Rurouni Kenshin (my mother fandom, which introduced me to the internet); Harry Potter (I am ashamed...yet not ashamed. They ARE fairly good books!); Discworld; House

Top Five Movies: anything and everything by Hayao Miyazaki; Benny and Joon; Sky High; The White Countess; The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Top Five Musicians/Bands: Dispatch (now split into State Radio-incredible political (Braddigan-very pretty, but with somewhat dense lyrics, and Pete Francis- AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE); Regina Spektor (Just incredible. In every way. Amazing singer, pianist, and song-writer, and she can keep a rhythm like no other); Barenaked Ladies (actually five men, who apparently love to humiliate their fans. Guess what? They're Canadian!); Ani DiFranco (the best for getting me through a low time); and the last one is a tie between Angie Aparo, Ben Folds, and Cold War Kids.

Top Five Webcomics (I was serious about the geek thing): SamandFuzzy (superb black and white art and REAL humor) ; XKCD (warning: this comic occasionally contains strong language which may be unsuitable for children, unusual humor which may be unsuitable for adults, and advanced mathematics which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors.) ; Gunnerkrigg Court (incredible coloring, enigmatic protagonist, and it's creator is obviously building up to something big...which is more than can say for some comics. coughQuestionableContentcough.); Count Your Sheep (adorable food for the thought); and Phoenix Requiem, from the creator of the ever-popular Inverloch. She's getting better at story-telling, and even if you don't like her writing style, just go to feast your eyes! It's GORGEOUS. (And I must add guilty pleasure PennyandAggie, because it's just fun to read.)

Top Five Actors/Actresses: Neil Patrick Harris; Hugh Laurie; Cillian Murphy; Miranda Otto; Ian McKellen

A Smattering of Der Other Stuff : Artists! Bill Watterson (Calvin and Hobbes); Craig Thompson (Blankets graphic novel); Nobuhiro Watsuki (Rurouni Kenshin and Buso Renkin) TV! --> I don't like TV. The commercials make me sick. We own one that gets a few channels, but we use it solely for DVDs. And yet, I've managed to reap in a lot of favorite shows. I mostly use hulu.com these days, and their ads are usually less nausea inducing than normal TV. I've watched Scrubs (who hasn't), and had brief stints with Grey's Anatomy, That 70's Show, Heroes and the O.C. (O.C. was ALL my sisters.) My favorites are The Daily Show, the Colbert Report, House, and Bones. I also enjoy Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and mostly because of Neil Patrick Harris, How I Met Your Mother. And one day I was surfing youtube and found my guilty pleasure anime/manga; Loveless. There's so much freakin' weird crap in that show, you can't stop watching it. I really don't like anime, or manga very much at all, but I thought this was pretty quality.

Also:

BATMAN.

I LIKE DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-ALONG BLOG.

CILLIAN MURPHY IS THE PRETTIEST HUMAN ON THE PLANET. (EVEN THOUGH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS IS MORE BUFF.)

I GO TO AN ART SCHOOL; OUR POLES ON CAMPUS ARE PAINTED IN RAINBOW COLORS.

ANGST IS POINTLESS (BUT OCCASIONALLY FUN.)

LOVE IS NOT ONLY AN EMOTION, IT'S A VERB. (which is why, in any kind of relationship, you can't just SAY you love them-- it doesn't matter if the emotion's there, if you don't actively LOVE, there's no point in keeping it up. Does that make sense to you?)

ANTHROPOLOGY IS FASCINATING.

HUMANS ARE LARGELY SEXUAL BEINGS (BUT FREUD WAS STILL A QUACK TRYING TO JUSTIFY A WEIRD OEDIPAL COMPLEX.)

"LOSE" IS SPELLED WITH ONE O, DAMMIT!

My friend, if you have read up to this point, I both congratulate and pity you.
